The defensenutrition.com website and its associated products, services and content (collectively “Website”) are owned and operated by Defense Nutrition, LLC (“Defense Nutrition”).  Defense Nutrition has adopted this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to inform you that it collects personal and personally identifiable information when you use the Website and to explain how this personal and personally identifiable information is used and shared with third parties.  Defense Nutrition has also adopted this Privacy Policy because it respects your privacy and believes that it should clearly and transparently disclose its privacy practices to you.  You should contact Defense Nutrition directly with any questions or concerns.  Note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Website and not to information collected offline. Defense Nutrition has no responsibility or liability for the activities of third party websites and their collection, use, sharing, and storage of your information.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY ON A REGULAR BASIS TO KEEP YOURSELF INFORMED OF ANY MODIFICATIONS. IN THE EVENT DEFENSE NUTRITION MODIFIES, LIMITS, CHANGES, OR REPLACES ITS PRIVACY POLICY, YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE AFTER SAID MODIFICATION, LIMITATION, CHANGE, OR REPLACEMENT CONSTITUTES YOUR MANIFESTATION OF ASSENT TO THE MODIFICATION, LIMITATION, CHANGE, OR REPLACEMENT.

  8. Other required Member Account or other information to access and use the Website

2.  Defense Nutrition may also collect the following additional personally identifiable information from you:

  4. Your usage of the Website, including, without limitation, any links or items clicked or pages viewed and statistics;

You understand and agree that Defense Nutrition may specifically share some of your information with payment processors in order to complete the services offered through the Website.

You acknowledge that your Member Account may be visible to other users.  You may delete any information from your profile with the exception of your first and last name and your email address.  However, you may make your email address non-visible to other users. 

6. Purchase or sale of the Website, associated services, or other assets:

Defense Nutrition may purchase other businesses or sell components of its business, including, but not limited to, the Website and associated services.  In the event Defense Nutrition purchases another business or sells any component of its business, your personal and personally identifiable information will continue to be used consistent with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

7. You may stop Defense Nutrition from collecting your personal or personally identifiable information by:

Adjusting your web browser settings, limiting cookies, terminating your account, or by ceasing your use of the Website.  Please note that it is possible that some areas of the Website will not function properly when you view them if you adjust your web browser settings to limit cookies.  You will be unable to register an account or to purchase products and services through the Website.  Defense Nutrition’s goal in using cookies is to make your experience with Defense Nutrition and the Website more convenient and personalized. 

Defense Nutrition does not honor Do Not Track browser signals.

California residents have the right to receive information that identifies any third party companies or individuals that Defense Nutrition has shared your personal information within the previous calendar year, as well as a description of the categories of personal information disclosed to that third party.

10. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Policy

The Website is not intended for or directed to users under the age of eighteen (18).  Defense Nutrition is in compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506, and does not knowingly or intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 or other minors.  If you are concerned that personal information may have been inadvertently provided to or collected by Defense Nutrition, please contact us immediately so appropriate steps may be taken to remove such information from Defense Nutrition’s database.
