Looking for the supplements I need, I found Chelated Potassium 99mg at H&B. The label says 1 a day (do not exceed dose) but the quick sheet pdf from Ori says take 5.

Is this safe?

Kind Regards,

Matt

A banana contains approximately 400mg of potassium. 100grams of almonds contains 600mg of potassium. An average avocado contains 1000mg of potassium. So, unless the supplement causes you stomach pains, as some people sometimes find with supplemental potassium, then sure, you can follow Ori's recommendation.

Good points, Peter!

Here's Ori's response:

"Legally companies are obligated to limit potassium supplement to 99mg.  So, the lingo on the label is plain and simple, a standard legal statement.  The recommendation to use 5 potassium is for mobilizing water from the peripherial tissues to the digestive tract for elimination and cleansing.  If you take medications or suffer from blood pressure or kidney disorders, consult with your physician.  I haven't recieved any reports of adverse side effects yet."
