The articles I've read about recovery meals state that we should take in a recovery meal after "intense" exercise.   I sometimes do a quick 20 minutes on the exercise bike or 20 minutes of pilates/yoga in the early a.m.  Is this intense enough to necessitate a recovery meal?  Is a little cottage cheese or yogurt with some fruit sufficient?

I usually work out with weights or an extended cardio workout in the late afternoon shortly before my main meal.

Thanks.

Yes, do the recovery after these, as you deplete your body stores.
