hi!

first of all, let me tell you that i have the greatest trust in ori's products and by no means i want to advertise other companies products, i'm just interested in biotest's latest product "superfood" and there statements about it as it seems the philosophy behind this product is very different from other multi vitmains & minerals. please don't feel offended as i will always support the WD products!

here is what biotest says about their intentions making that product:

"I guess I haven't done a good job making our position clear.

Putting in EXACT amounts of this nutrient or that nutrient is what we DON'T want to do!

Every company on earth that's put out a multi-vitamin pill or capsule is guilty of either fraud or naivety.

The research is all over the board! Remember my example of the antioxidants found in a piece of thyme? There's a lot of them, right? How does anyone know that Vitamin C or Vitamin E works or doesn't work because it's being ingested with all those other phytochemcals?

It's foolish to play "God" with a vitamin/mineral/antioxidant product based on a couple of studies when there are just as many contrary studies to be found.

It would have been easy to put this much or that much of a particular phytonutrient in the product but at the expense of what? You might be leaving out the specific chemical that makes the ingredient in question function corrrectly.

Therefore we put in well-thought out variety of what we currently believe to be the most potent foods known to man.

And since one crop varies slightly from the next, it's virtually impossible to include highly specific amounts of every single one of the thousands of phytochemicals in Superfood."

oh, and it's about that product:

moderator and webmaster, i'm interested in this because you recently wrote that ori is making a new version of the warrior essentials and i'm curious about the direction it will go.
also, i'd be very intersted in ori's opinion about biotests claim that it doesn't make sense to make a multi with exact amounts of certain vitamins and minerals.

I'd really apprecitate it if you could help me wit my questions but i also perfectly understand if it's inappropriate to ask questions about other companies products, so feel free to delete the post!

thanks for reading & best wishes  Smiley

Guys, Ori is extremely busy these days, so I'm going to tell you what I think he would say regarding this "Biotest" supplement.  I quickly scanned the product info page and say that it looks like it would be a good way to get a lot of essential nutrients.  The only thing I can say is try it out and see how it works for you.  I don't want to be a proponent for others' products here on our website, when we truly believe and know that we already have great products here to offer.  However, that's not to say that there aren't other companies out there that have good natural vitamins and products to offer.  The ultimate test is simply to make sure that the sources of these nutrients are good, whole food and natural and that they don't contain any chemicals, preservatives or other contaminants.  They claim that they don't, so all I can say is that you have to trust them at their word.  Try it and see and let us know.  You just have to run these kinds of products through your filter of what you know is right and what is not.

thank you for your honest answer rick, i really appreciate that! i know your products are great, especially the warrior essentials seem to work very good for me (i never get these blurps after taking them, other, even very expensive and natural multis always had this side effect for me) and i'm not thinking about giving up on them! i was more interested in the statement that it's not about the exact amount of this vitamin and that mineral but more about the sum of the ingredients as i believe ori wrote something similar in the past.

as i posted before i'm very excited about the improved warrior essentials you talked about before, can't wait to get more info about it!

unfortunately i already finished all of my warrior bars but i still have two bottles of essentials. in february i will go to china to visit my gf  Grin and i'm sure the essentials will help to protect me against all the crap you find nowadays in chinese food and the enviroment. you can be assured that i will place a new order in march so i hope you will still have the new international free shipping offer at that time ;-)

best wishes!
