For the life of me I cannot find the newsletter/article Ori wrote about the science of why mixing nuts and fruits is a no-no. Could someone link this for me? I've looked thru the newsletter archive and cannot find it. Thanks!

Mixing nuts and sugar (including fruit) is not a recommended food combination according to the Warrior Diet and Anti-Estrogenic Diet. This has been mentioned several times throughout the sites, but I don't believe we've posted the actual science behind that.

mandra, are you just looking for a listing of all the food combinations, or the reasons why Ori recommends these food combinations?

Here's a tip for everyone: The best place to search across all our sites from a single place is to use the search box on the Defense Nutrition homepage (www.defensenutrition.com). This search uses the power of Google to simultaneously search all our content at once. The advantage of this is that you can use AND and OR search modifiers, and you don't have to know the exact keywords to get hits.

I know I read on either his blog or in a newsletter exactly why mixing nuts and fruits/grains/alcohol is bad. Something to do with how the body processes these two things and how they offset eachother, etc.

Mandra, as ChenZhen pointed out, Ori goes into detail about it in a webcast that you can listen to by clicking on the link to in the November 2nd, 2007 newsletter:

http://www.warriordiet.com/newsletters/newsletter-2007-nov-02

BTW, did you try the search? You might have to try several different keyword searches to find it, but it does search DefenseNutrition.com, WarriorDiet.com, the newsletter archive, blog, and forum. That's your best bet to find something.
