My biggest challenge so far, living in a cold climate, is the loss of body heat during a day of undereating. I find Marmite in a cup of boiling  water makes a warming  soup, and a pure one given its ingredient list: yeast extract, salt, dehydrated carrots and onions, spice extracts.
Anyone else have warming suggestions?

Yes, ginger is an excellent warmer. I must try making ginger tea. I have a recipe from the internet.

i don't think you need a special recipe for ginger tee, just boil some water and put a few slices of the ginger root inside and wait a few mins!

btw, chinese peolpe say black tea is warming (also good for the stomach), green tea is cooling, just to inform you in case you also like to drink these teas
