Hello,
Could be common sense, but I would love feedback?

I am very interested in the warrior diet and I cannot wait to get my copy of the book early December and I also look very forward to reading the AntiEstrogenic Diet as well. I just have some questions before getting started and I have read everything that I can so far on the forum and websites, newsletters and blogs. it does not seem like my case as been answered before so please direct me if it has. I cannot even imagine how busy you are.  My first thing is that I do not need to lose weight. I am breastfeeding a nine-month old and it would be best if I did not lose weight.I am 5'7'' 120-125 and I run, bike swim and weight train any chance I get.  HOWEVER, I would love to get my belly flat and this is where these two "diets" interest me. I have always my whole life had problems with my stomach both inside and out. Diagnosed at 10 with Irritable Bowl Syndrome. I have always been lean and muscular with an athletic body (except for my stomach and no matter how many crunches I did - it would not matter.) SO after reading everything about chemicals etc. I have come to the conclusions that I am addicted to sugar and chemicals in the foods. The sugar never was a problem to me before because I could easily spend 5 hours on the bike, miles of running, hiking, walking and yoga (all in one day.) Now with kids I cannot do all this. SO that is my background and here are the questions.
1. Can or should an endurance athlete who is hypoglycemic with low blood pressure, go through the fasting phase of the day?? I am so so so thankful I came across this website. I could not take it a day longer. I would just crash every time I ate and I was so tried all day. The warrior diet and eating light during the day HAS CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER. I just hope I can follow it do to sugar problems.

2. It seems like it AE is designed for an nonactive person trying to lose weight? Is it? Should I look at it as a detox program to rid my body of chemicals and toxins instead, since losing weight is not my goal? This is why I thought I should follow the AE foods on the warrior diet?

3. I did a 30 day detox- I was following the lifeforce detox program - do or I still need to or should I do a full week of the detox. I just want to feel better, have more energy, not be mentally and physically drained the whole day.

4. Maybe because of hypoglycemic but I do notice the protein days doing a lot better for me. should I still do high fruit during detox. The doctors have just told me I am hypoglycemic I have had symptoms my whole life- so I am new at this. Everything I have read says to never eat fruit alone or high carbs should always be combined with protein. Just trying to clear up things.

4. I want to order the bars, warrior milk and other product but I am concerned since I am lactose and gluten sensitive. Therefor I have a hard time tolerating the protein (casein) as well as the lactose. I have never been able to tolerate any protein bar or even powerbars. As an x-triathlete I have tried them all. Luna bars, do well for me- but they are full of soy.  I am giving you all this- not to take up more time, just thought it might help when answering. You did mention trying to see if they work. I live in Europe so it will be very very expensive with shipping to try them if I cannot tolerate them. Have you had feed back from other gluten/ lactose intolerants??

5. IS combining the food for weight loss purposes, digestion, cleansing? I do not have anything to put my almond butter on and looking for new ideas for breakfast.

It seems like basically my over all question is IF you recommend everyone going through the detox. I just do not want to lose weight my in laws already thinking that I am anorexic- I eat more then my husband so this is not a the problem.

YOU guys (seems like all your hard work) are doing an AMAZING incredible job at supplying the US and the world with this information, forum, help. I will have my books sent to my mom and I asked her to read them and then send them to me. I cannot wait. I could read and listen to Ori for hours. He is so interesting.

Thank you so much in advance for any time you can spend with this. I know you are so busy so a short blunt yes or no is fine.

In your situation during that daytime your intake should be raw veggies, fresh veggie juices, eggs, & small amounts of smoked salmon or sashimi. Eat from these foods as often as you need to. After your exercise you can have a larger amount of those protien choices. I know that this sounds restictive but you have alot of things to address. As far as your dinner meal you should stick with Phase I (Detox) meals, but cut out the grains (IBS purposes) & Phase II (High Fat) meals. During a weekly cycle of those two meals you can rotate them with a little more emphisis on Phase II.

Thank you, I wrote too much and thanks for reading. I finally got around to writing and I could not stop.

This will be a HUGE challange for me. It is a rather skimpy list of foods. But I am sure I will reap the rewards.

THANKS again for your help with the food ideas.
