I missed you warriors!!!!!!

Heellloooooo my warriors!
I'm back in Europe. After work on the boat I did some travelling and now I'm back home in Europe. I have to tell you eventhough I was kind of sceptic about prolonging my AED for longer than 3 weeks...Well, gotta tell you this -
I've been on it for 77 days!!!
Why?
I don't know
, I just felt good. I told myself, I can have whatever I want, but my body was happy with the way I ate the 3rd week, so I didn't really eat any meat, any wheat, any milk, of course no sugar or bad fat... I was a good girl! And let me tell you this - if you wanna do it, you can do it!
I've been eating like this while travelling (found some GORGEOUS islands) with all kinds of yummy food available...but running in the morning meant so much more to me than some sugary food...ok, I did have almond butter (organic of course) with some no wheat bread sometimes...
When I came home my mom couldn't recognize my face - my skin is so beautiful!
My period is back to normal, my body feels great!!!
Here, at home... well, I am conciously eating bread, because bread is our daily food here. I bake my own, with spelt flour and all the good stuff. We have coconut butter here, no taste at all, so we use it for everything - eggs, meat...my family doesnt use oil at all (ok, except olive oil that comes from untouched islands in Croatia).
I eat the deserts my mom bakes, because I missed them and I miss the atmosphere and I just enjoy this time with them. And we have a lot of fresh farmers cheese we get by local farmers that can't even pronounce any hormones - you should see the old woman's face when I asked her if they ever use any hormones on their farm...
We make deserts mostly with fruit (seasonal) and farmers cheese.
But soon I will be back on my Warrior eating, because I do feel physically better. But for now I do eat lunch with my parents since it means so much to us, being together again (sadly that dining table is the biggest meeting point, isn't it? Well I'm trying to take them hiking, so dogs go with us, too!).
I did realized sth...
Right now we have LOTS of yummy mandarines...now, they come from Croatia and are just incredibly delicious. But somehow my skin doesnt like it - I get pimples, really nasty ones. I don't care, really, because mandarines are just too good...but funny, I remembered that in Eat Right for your Blood Type book it says for my blood type (A), oranges should be avoided.
When I was in States years ago, when the book just came out, I was curious and did a little research on it, asking people what they prefer to eat, what makes them feel good and I realized that people with A blood type, were really more prone to vegetarian eating...
Coffee is very beneficial and hello, I had coffee few times a day (of course BLACK, because any other milk than cow milk makes it disgusting)... and I just know coffee is good for me and no one will convice me any different.
I am not such a big meat eater, actually I realized my body feels lighter if I don't eat it.
When I was very into fitness, I've been on diets, you know - lots of protein, lean meat, veggies, oatmeal...and with all the scientifically made diet plans, with calucated protein, carbs, fat, fiber....all very precize (to a gram! we even did blood check ups), I didn't feel good and I still had some body fat to lose.
But when I don't eat all that meat, I just feel lighter, more flexible...
does that make any sense?
Anyone ever tried or has any experiences with Blood Type eating?

Congratulations! It sounds like you're doing really well, and you have a great positive attitude. I think the most important part is holding ourselves accountable, since we know what can happen if we don't. It seems so much easier to get back to this way of eating after a cheat. I had one minor cheat that made me so sick I swore never to do it again. It just feels so much better to be me now, so I know what you mean. I love the part that my skin just looks so much better now, and maybe even a little younger. There are just so many positive aspects to eating right, that it perpetuates itself somewhat. My big pleasure this week was wearing a bra that was formerly so tight I could barely breathe in it. At one time I never thought that would happen. I am looking forward to wearing some jeans I bought 4 years ago. Maybe by New Year's Eve. That would be awesome. More likely it will be Easter though! Welcome back and it's wonderful to hear so many positive things.

Hi Tita! So glad you're back. We've got a lot of newbies in the forum now that are on the AEDiet and doing really well. But, they can always use encouragement like yours. At any rate, I'm just glad to see you back. I was wondering if you fell of the face of the earth.
As for your question, Ori seems to think that much of "Blood Type" eating is not too reliable, although I'm sure it has aspects of truth. Just stating what I've heard his say about it.
