I'm in surgery sometimes 6 hours a day (surgical tech) Obviously, I can't eat throughout the day as is important in the plan.  Not only that, because I'm in surgery so long at times I have to have some protein in the morning to be able to focus on the job at hand.  Is this even doable for someone like me.  I like the program but haven't been able to be consistent enough to get any results...any ideas?? Huh

Thanks for the help, I'm new to the program too.

Actually, eating throughout the day is NOT required on this diet. You can modify the AEDiet to follow the eating cycle of the Warrior Diet. There's a good overview of the diet at www.warriordiet.com.  I think you'll find it perfect for your schedule, as do I. You don't have to worry about breakfast or lunch throughout the day, you'll never feel hungry and your alertness and energy level will be great, I promise you.  Smiley

I have to concur with webmaster.  Since I've been on this plan, I can't remember one single day when I was lethargic during the day, in fact, I'm always on my toes.  It's pretty amazing.  And, I have a problem now making myself take a break during the day to actually eat some fresh fruit or veggies, as I just forget.  I NEVER even think about hunger during the day.  Of course, when I workout, I do try to have good recovery meals thereafter.

Cheesy Thank you both, I'll look at the Warrior diet, it may be a better fit for me.  It would also allow me to walk during lunch and get my excersize in!!

Thanks again!

If you're doing the AEDiet, you're doing the Warrior Diet, just a bit more extreme version.  You can certainly walk during your lunch hour.  Many times we speak in terms of breakfast, lunch and dinner, but honestly, we don't want people to think of eating in that way, but to eat during the day when hungry.  Delineated the times is just a way to help people better visualize when to eat.

Ok, basically that's where I am at, eating when hungry and when time is available.  Honestly I haven't lost any weight on the program, I figure it's me not doing things perfectly, or not getting enough excersize.  I'm only getting in 3 days a week walking right now but am working on moving up to 5 or 6 days a week.  I'm 47 and have quit smoking about 2 months ago.  I immediately gained 7 lbs, wasn't eating more, I think the metabolism difference was huge for me.  I needed to lose 10 lbs before quitting smoking now it's 17.  I'm eating carrots and celery during the day, an apple or an orange and yogurt...not organic...can't find it, just fat free.  I eat fish at night with a large serving of veggies (steamed).  I do sometimes have a glass of merlot to chill at nite but not all the time, and sometimes have brown rice with the veggies.  Anyway, I'm sticking with it despite my lack of success, trying to get healthier.  I just ordered the EstroX and your probiotics, have taken all of the ones I had.  EstroX will be new to the routine for me.

I really hope I can see some success soon, I need the encouragement!  Thanks for your input, it helps!

Make sure you read our newsletters, especially the last couple - found by clicking the link below.  Keep in mind that detox is key here.  If you're drinking alcohol (and I understand the desire to do so, you will not be detoxifying your body, which will hinder weight loss).  If at all possible, do not drink during detox days, especially.
