Ok so today i went in my opinion overboard with berries in the undereating phase.I normally get through on my workout days without food during the day but on my rest day(today) i feel hungrier,I know its weird. So to cut to the chase i ate around 300g blueberries,250g rasberries and around 300g strawberries.I'm thinking it was around 250 cals.I kind of fucked up in my opinion but its a good thing that i had arranged to play some basketball with my friends today.

Basically if any of you guys could let me know whether this was ok or if i overdid it.Thanks

It all depends on how you felt after eating the berries.  If you felt sleepy and sluggish, then you probably overdid it.  If you felt like any other day, or had plenty of energy and still felt alert, then you are fine.  You have to listen to your body and see how it responds to the different things you do in order to decide how you should go forward.  There is no secret formula to this diet and it's a constant learning process, where you learn to tweek what you eat and when you eat depending on your activities, how you're feeling, how much you slept, etc.

Also, don't be surprised that you were hungrier on your day off.  This happens quite often, as your body is recovering from your exercises and rebuilding muscle and fixing injuries.  Just because you're not being active doesn't mean that your body isn't burning calories like crazy.  It takes a lot of energy to rebuild the muscles and recover from workouts, especially if you have overtrained.  Listen to your body, it will tell you when to rest, when to eat, and how much.  Just don't go diving into any cupcakes or donuts.

Fruit is only bad for you in a fat saturated environment.
I still have yet to understand why so many think the warrior diet is a bulimia contest. Do. Not. Starve. I bet you anything the reason you ate "so much fruit" in the first place was because you were seriously HUNGRY. I would be to if I never ate and still expected my body to function without the basic necessity of fuel during the day.
I've seen people who are serious into IF. I used to never eat during the day. My body composition, along with my personality and mental acuity suffered IMMENSELY. My personal opinion on the whole "never eat until night" thing.
Get rid of the whole anorexic mindset.
I find myself doing much better with at least a 20/80 ratio of day food/night food. If you exercise, 2000 calories is a sustainable weight loss goal. Pick 400 calories (fruit in the morning, huge salad for lunch, whey in the afternoon or something like that) and good luck eating 1800 calories of healthy food at night (unless you are one of those people who thinks cramming 5,000 calories of nuts in your maw is a good thing).

i usually eat quite a lot but i am very ectomorphic so really whatever i eat tends to pass thorugh me really quickly.Im nearly 19 so i dont have any problems with body composition even when i eat hyper calorific.I'm not stupid my griend.5000 cals of nuts would also be a very hard feat to achieve.I accept your challenge Smiley

I await the results of the 5000 calorie nut challenge.
I think most of us on here have done it at one point hahaha. Maybe it should be the warrior diet rite of passage?

ha ye maybe.realistically being an ectomorph i can get away with it but im really trying to lose bodf fat quicker at the moment so i wont be trying that for a while.i've found now that my apetite is unsatiable unless i eat massive amount of vegetables, protein and fats.I',m sure thats the reason i found it difficult to stop eating during todays underating phase. Now to go rest cos ima need around 3 days to burn off this pizza i just had.I'm not too worried cos for once in my dieting life i can be social with friends and not worry about it.

I am eating approx. 3,220 cal./day currently and maintain single digit body fat levels and I'm not that big (180lbs.) 5'10...I eat very clean during the week..high protein high fat low carb. approx. 40/40/20 split in calories..try to get all my calories from various sources and although I change a few things up from day to day the majority of it stays consistent..this Sunday I am going to give myself a break since its been several weeks now and have a "cheat" day..just go nuts on the calories...its good to jump start the metabolism and also for the mind.

i know what you mean my friend.I find the warrior diet is the only diet i've ever felt comfortable cheating on.I know that if i water fast for the next 3 days and do my fasted workouts and some extra cardio it'll be as if it never happened.

I have a question for anyone if they want to answer it: if my rmr is 1800 calories does that mean that per day seeing as i usually water fast(the odd time i have berries and carrot juice) will i be buring as a base around 1500 calories just sitting there. Then when i do fasted workout maybe another 700 cals.So realistically it takes like 2 days to irradicate the hampering effects of a cheat day.Am i right or is this just retarted
