..and yes I would typically eat that much food during the day...I am trying to get one gram of protein per pound of body weight also.

Right on.
I tend to be more liberal with fruits and veggies during the undereating phase. This mid-morning I sliced a couple sticks of celery, diced a tomato, and grated a carrot and tossed it altogether. I think people still often confuse undereating with starvation, it doesn't have to be that way. I think of it as pretending to be a raw vegan during the day, then getting into the man-food at night. It still works out to be about <500 calories a day if I'm not very active. Of course, eating only bananas, it would be easy to exceed that amount of calories.

YEss..thats the approach I am trying to take..raw vegan during the day...I ditched the bananas during the day and will cut them out from the overeating phase now too.

Day 7:

Coffee, apple cider vinegar, water, vitamins, probiotics.

Was working away at my desk today and it was 10"30 before I realized that I still had not touched any food...I have a feeling if I tried I could probably get through the day on water fasting alone....

apple

grapefruit

slice of pineapple

handful of berries  all evenly spaced out throughout the day

green tea twice today

WORKOUT- LEG DAY (my favorite)

Holy Cow..I actually went up 50 pounds on my squats today and pushed myself for 2 extra reps on all three sets....with calf presses (supersets)

Also went up in weight on my dumbell lunges (with leg curls super sets) and through in some seated calf raises and stiff legged dead lifts (supersets) man did I feel strong today..

I stopped at the grocer store after work (seems I am stocking up on fresh food every 2-3 days on this diet) lol

OVEREATING PHASE-----

Protein shake with tbs. coconut oil

Spinach salad, artichokes, olives, baby carrots, yellow peppper, cheddar cheese, avocado,  olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spices

Steamed broccoli, with two small cans of tuna in olive oil with hot thai chili peppers...(30 grams of protein total)

chicken breast with rosemary and oregano in butter

4 egg omlette with onions, cheddar and half a red pepper

oatmeal with cinnamon (no more honey) :-(

about a third of a cup of blueberries with 1 tbs. of goat's milk yogurt

Protein shake in water

Overall I noticed today I was feeling a little flat and my muscles looked a little faded but as soon as I started eating it was if my muscles filled right up and veins started popping out..my abs even looked better at the end of the day then they did this morning....I had an amazing leg workout and was the strongest I have been in along time at the gym...I also noticed that tonight I felt way better spreading the food out over 4 hours as opposed to the past few nights when I had to cram everything into a 2.5 hour period...this makes a huge difference for me...also cutting the carbs at dinner ie. no banana, pineapple, or honey seems to make a noticeable difference in how I feel..I also increased the protein quite a bit tonight ie. the tuna in order to help with recovery from the heavy squats at the gym....will let you know how I feel tomorrow...tonight I feel great...its been a week already and I feel almost enlightened on this new diet...it's as if I am really turning over a new leaf.

time for one final cup of green tea with cinnamon and I'm off to bed.

Incredible!!! I woke up this morning and I would'nt even know that I trashed my legs at the gym yesterday...they dont hurt at all..I mean zero pain....for 17 years I have become accustomed to limping around for a day or two after a heavy leg training day at the gym but not today!! WOW!!! the WD seems to allow me to recover so fast its amazing.

Food is really a drug.
Don't have a cigarette all day, and you bet the one you have before you go to bed will be KILLER. I suppose you could make a smoking program called Warrior Smoker? But the point, is that like any other drug, if you keep shoving it in a tolerance is developed, requiring more (protein) for the same effect.
But if you postpone it, it works its mojo a lot better. That is my personal theory, I'm sure most who follow this craziness would agree.
Don't be scared of bananas! I personally like to keep them pre and post workout, but I still eat them. As long as you can eat just one, your probably fine. I just really like bananas. I used to slam ten in a row when I was 80/10/10, ha.

Day 8:   Shoulders and Biceps at the gym this evening

In order to cease from boring everyone I will only talk about changes made to my diet now instead of detailing everything that is essentially the same every day.

Undereating phase: berries, apple, baby carrots, grapefruit evenly spaced out throughout the day...coffee, green tea, water

WORKOUT: strength was up in everything!! went from using 60 lbs. dumbells last week to 70 lbs. today for seated presses...got a great pump throughout all of my muscles I was training.
e
Overeating Phase; protein in coconut water...the only health food store in my city that sells coconut water has been completely sold out for over a week and I just drank my last one..they say its on back order..i have come to rely on it as a daily beverage for several months now so I am bummed out over this coconut water "shortage" :-(

Salad with usual ingredients.

3/4 grams of shrimp in curry spices and coconut oil....steamed rappini, chicken breast with fresh rosemary in butter...handful of pistachio nuts 4 egg omlette with half a yellow pepper, onion and cheddar.

blueberries in goat's yogurt...no oatmeal tonight..no gym tomorrow so figured I would reduce the carbs and see what happens..

Protein shake in water with tbs of coconut oil

Again as I start eating I can actually see my muscles expanding, my vascularity increasing and my abs looking sharper....its weird because you would think eating would have the opposite effect but thats not the case if you eat the "right" food at the right time of the day I guess...WD is continuing to impress me. I would love to take more pics to document my progress but the quality of the pics suck when all I have is my cell phone...lol

Felt hungry during the day for the first time since starting the WD..not anything major but a small sense of hunger during the a.m. so I satisfied it with some raw carrots and a few hours later with some black berries....afternoon was apple and a grapefruit a few hours after that...I just did 20 min of cardio at the gym and abs work...protein shake and a banana when I got home followed by spinach salad with half yellow pepper, one avocado and few baby carrots...I opted out of the usual toppings for a change..next I had a small handful of pistachio nuts...followed that up with steamed rappini and chicken breast in coconut oil...then I had 5 scrambled eggs no cheese or peppers this time...then I had double serving of oatmeal.,,then I had another protein shake...then I had blueberries with yogurt followed by a final protein shake and coconut oil....I switched things up tonight opting for an extra shake over extra food...and increased the carbs a bit as I play soccer at 8:30 tomorrow night and wanted to have enough fuel to get me through it...I feel pretty full now and wont hit the gym until Friday when I train chest and triceps...parasympathetic mode is kicking in as I am getting very sleepy now..lol some more water then its off to bed.

Hard to believe its already day 10 in the history books:

usual morning routine...apple, grapefruit, berries and carrots at work evenly spaced out...had a protein shake when i got home and a banana about 1 hour before soccer which was late today (8:30pm) that mean t I didnt get to really eat until 10:00...protein shake in the car after soccer, then i came home to a loaded spinach salad with avocado, baby carrots, cheddar cheese, red pepper, olives, spices, olive oil and balsamic.....followed that with steamed broccoli in olive oil with a touch of shredded cheddar maybe I teaspoon total...then one full pound of fresh squid...fried in coconut oil...oatmeal and one final protein shake (2 scoops this time) in almond juice (unsweetened) to finish off the night...much less food then usual but I was not feeling super hungry so I figured its best to just listen to my body....took a kick to the back of the calf muscle in soccer today which made the remainder of practice kind of difficult but I was still able to score a few goals during scrimmage and felt like my energy levels were very high...I am exhausted now though and am heading to bed...back day at the gym tomorrow and dead lifts (one of my favorites)...look a little flat tonight but I equate it to a lot of heavy sweating at soccer and my feast being postponed several hours from usual....tomorrow I will be back on my regular eating schedule.

I must have been tired last night because I forgot to mwention a handful of pistachio nuts during my overeating phase..lol..anyways woke up this morning and my abs were cuttt...probably the best they looked all week...I am going to take this as a signe to maybe reduce the calories slightly during my overeating phase to see how my body reacts to this...I still feel full this morning but we will see how the day progresses...and I screwed up..tonight is chest and triceps not back..:-( oh well I have something to look forward to tomorrow...I must be sick in the head if I actually look forward to heavy deadlifts. :-)

Then make that two people who are sick. Deadlifts and squats are my favorite. None of this sissy bicep curling; give me demolition.
