Hello my name is Jason, I have a success story and a failure. I was at a high weight of 232 (no pics from then) and started the warrior diet and ended up here:

183lbs.

Well I got married and have ended up here: (about 215-220)

(This is a pic of my and my sister)
(Strayed from the warrior diet and have been eating the wife's and her family's Italian food all the time!)

So needless to say I will be sharing my soon to be success story here with you guys!

Jason

My current training consists of:
KB snatches
KB Halos
KB Overhead Squats
KB Clean and Press
Various core exercises
Pull-ups
Power Snatches
Power CLeans
Squats (Over head/Front/orBack all full depth)
(I wont do them all usually 4-5 exercises 3-5 sets)
I try finishing in an hour

I competed in Olympic Weightliftling for about a 6 year span, so I always gravitate towards Cleans, snatches, jerks, and presses, and squats.
Between all sets I practice active rest (on the bike) for 1 minute intervals

I will post progress over the next 2-3 weeks

Good luck!! Your muscle memory should help you bounce back to your leaner self in no time...Being Italian myself I know how easy it is to pack on the pounds eating breads, pastas and a host of other great Italian foods.Good luck warrior.

MMmmm your end of the day feast sounds gooood!! :-) I also had my ACL done about 2 years ago...I have regular massage therapy and accupuncture still to keep my knee healthy...I also supplement with a herbal joint formula that I have found to work wonders...(much better than Clucosomine and MSM) when I go home tonight I will look up the name of it to pass it on. Also remember that fatty acids such as Omega 3 and 6 help lubricate the joints..this is why I take a tablespoon of Hemp seed oil every morning...u can also use flax seed oil...

My current supplementation looks like this:
Chondroitin/Glucasomine
MSM
SAMe
Fish Oil
Multi-Vitamin

It helps but the weather changes really get me.
I would really appreciate that formula, if you can find it.
I do get accupunture once in a while, helps but hurts the pocket book.

-Sunday I will get an official weigh in. Also will probably start the olympic lifts again.

No problem I will get the name for you tonight..(I can never remember the name or brand) but I much prefer tit o the Glucosamine/MSM that I took previous...I am lucky I get accupuncture covered by my benefits at work or I would never be able to afford it either...:-(  I also try to make myself as alkaline as possible as this reduces inflammation all over the body (especially in the joints) try Apple cider vineger a few times a day...

Ok..just got home..the product I use and swear by is "reflexir"  www.jointhealthy.com  It's a Canadian product so I'm not sure if it's available in the states..Ingredients are; Lepidium meyenii walp from Maca roots, Uncaria tomentosa--wild crafted Cat's claw bark extract...I was using Glucosamine and MSM previously but I feel this stuff has worked for mwe much better...its only about $30 for a month's supply   take 1 capsule 3 times a day...Hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks! I will look into it immediately!

Last Nights meal was a carnivores delight:
-2 turkey brats
-1 organic beef dog
(smothered with hot mustard)
-8 dill pickles (slices)
-at least a cup of coleslaw (I love fermented foods and pickled)
-ham steak
-4 eggs
-olive oil fried onions
-10 OZ. of kefir
-2 beers to wash it down
-no breads
( I have a big day today so I wanted to get as much protien as possible)
I won't be home til after 8pm me and a buddy are hitting the range (ar's, ak's mosion-nagant, sks, glock, shotgun, and fnp-9) are all running some ammo today.
I have the day off work.

Morning workout, more intensity a little less volume, knee is still a little sore but better:

23 min biking 6 miles
KB Snatch 16k x10/24kx9
KB Cl and press 16k x 10/ 24k x9
KB Halo 16k x 10 x 2 / 24 k x 8 x 2
Pwr Snatches 50 x 5/ 60 x 4 / 70 x3 (haven't done for a while so taking it easy)
Pwr Cl 80 x2/ 90 x2/ 100 x2
No/No/No squats 80x2/100x2/120x2/140x2

Finished pretty quick got to mow the lawn and pick up more ammo!

I will stop boring you guys with the meals unless I do something special, and the workouts unless I hit some PR's.

Promise to have a weigh in on sunday!

Special note:
Energy is very good, getting moderately hungry through the day. My training is at 4 am so by about 10:30 or so I'm getting pretty hungry. Fatty nuts, walnut and cashew seem to hold it off.

Well did my weigh in... Shocked I weighed in at 234.8 (The highest my body weight has ever been). By this morning though I'm down to 230.4 ouch! Looks like I have a long way to go!
On the good side my sunday work out had a little pr or kb snatches doubled with kb toss I have been doing a russian ladder no rest doing a toss aftyer the set and continuing with the opposite arm:

For example 1 rep right, toss to left, 1 rep left toss to right, 2 reps right, toss to left........ (you get the drift)

So I did 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/6/5/4/3/2/1  (124 reps in one set including tosses no rest 16k kb)

Yay....

Dont get down on yourself...stick a picture of yourself when you were in the best shape of your life right on to your fridge....that way everyday you will look at it and remind yourself of your goals!! This is a great motivation tool...dont forget the power of the mind...when you visualize something strongly enough you can make it happen in the physical realm.
