I bought some liquid hyssop extract a while back to try, and I am wondering if it is an herb that Ori considers to be estrogenic (like licorice) or not?  I have not been using it yet, as I would like to know if it violates what the AED is trying to accomplish.

Thanks,
Hunter

Hunter, Ori said that hyssop is a great herb, up there along the lines of oregano and thyme.  He said it's good to have either live or dry.  You can find it in health food stores under the arabic name "zatar".  He recommends eating it in large quantities and seasoning your food with it.

Ok, I will look for it in its live or dry form.  I have it in a liquid extract form...is this O.K. ?

Hunter, as long as the liquid is from a good source, I'm sure it's fine.  Also, I want to correct my previous post.  I had my facts a bit mixed up.  Zatar is actually a mixture of herbs,  but can contain hyssop.  You should be able to find it as it's named  - "hyssop".

Cool.  I will continue to look for it in dry form as well.  I could not find it here at my local Wild Oats, but I will look around town some more.  Do you or Ori have any suggestions pertaining to a good internet site to order dried herbs like hyssop/zatar from?

Thanks,
Hunter
