Hi there,

I've been following the WD for 4 weeks now. I love it. Easy to adapt to and the benefits just keep on coming!

I have however been getting what I call "head wobbles" for a few weeks recently and I am trying to work out 1) if it's to do with the WD and 2) what I could tweak to see if it helps. They tend to hit me really quickly and pass just as quickly. They will occur through the day and go away at night.

I love the WD but this dizziness is blighting my otherwise great feeling of well being.

I seen a few posts similar to mine but none were exactly the same.

A few points to make:

- I don't become weak when I feel the dizzy spells. In fact I feel better if I do something physical?!?
- I have had this happen before I started on the warrior diet but after a fairly big shift in diet to try and reduce high cholestorol (ie dietary changes seemed to also be involved)
- I have had blood tests in the past and I don't have hypoglycemia - fasting glucose levels were normal
- I have suffered from panic attacks in the past.
- I hate my current job and am trying to leave (find a new one or start a business)
- I eat plenty in my evening meal. Seems like a ludicrous amount tbh and I try to balance carb/protien/fat (though not obsessive about it)

At the moment I seem to have 2 options as to what could be causing it - stress (building on the panic attack problem) or diet. I am back at the docs on Monday to ask for advice but I am reticent to tell him about the WD as I get the feeling he'll just try to blame it and I'm not convinved it's the problem as I've had these dizzy spells before  started it.

Finally the last 6 weeks at work have been the most stressful of my life in regards to what has been going on there. However being on the WD has meant I feel like I am dealing with it very very easily so the stress/panic attack reason doesn't seem to fit - which leaves diet, or something else entirely.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated as I  love this way of eating but need to settle on a plan of attack for the "head wobbles" - hope I've not confused you all with too much info.

Cheers.

Do you eat anything during the day?

Yes - Typical day is......

Wake 7am - Glass of water
8-9am - 2 carrots or equivalent
mid-morning - apple or berries
1-2pm - raw cabbage/turnip + some berries
Mid- afternoon - apple or berries, maybe some more raw veg if any left
6-7pm - main meal begins

I drink 2-3 litres of water during the day too.

You are getting a lot of fluid. Drinking too much water while undereating can really mess up your electrolyte balance. I feel much better and more even when I drink less water. That and less cold, too.
With your fruit consumption, I highly doubt you would need MORE than 2 liters. Try a liter and a half, to see how it feels?

I'll give that a try - cheers.

Turns out I have Labyrinthitis - nothing to do with the diet. Got pills to manage the symptoms and feel an improvement already.

Although the doctor could not resist the urge to give me diet advice and tell me to eat more during the day and not to eat so much at night. Plus the standard dietary advice - eat less saturated fat etc... I resisted the urged to go into the finer nuances of the Warrior Diet and why it's so good and just smiled and said thanks  Grin

Glad I got this last year too (never got diagnosed) or else I'd have deffo blamed it on the diet and likely stopped it!!

So chuffed I don't have to - really enjoying it  Cheesy
