Oye que bola!!!
Hey! new warrior to the forums but very long time reader..
I did this diet along time ago and was loosing a pound a day, but life got in the way and so did complications and timing hurdles. So im starting again. I dont eat vegetables cuz im allergic to them (rare allergies) but i fast with water and fruits. Please critique!!!
...
Wake up (undereating phase) : water apple and/or bananas
dinner (pigging out- er.. I mean... Overeating phase) :
So i stuff my face first with a eggsoup (instead of salads like everyother warrior here) to open my stomach and glands.
The soup has cornstarch. Good or bad? U Reccomend..
.
Throughout the day im having nuts or tiny sip of apple juice and what not. Is the good or bad?
Last but not least. Any altertives to veggies?

Hey!
If you don't train in the morning, I'd skip the fruit, especially bananas. Have them later in the day, if you must. You could also try some plain yoghurt mixed with the fruit to get some protein later in the day. Stay with water and tea/coffee in the morning or at least low GI fruit like berries.
Nuts are only recommended during the beginning stages and days you feel deprived, other than that they should be part of the overeatingphase (allthough personally, I think it's not a big deal to eat a handful of almonds
)
If the corn is not the typical GMO crap I see no problem, especially on high carb days. Just observe how it effects you!
If you eat no veggies, make sure to eat enough meat, fish and eggs, actually one can get all the nutrients from fatty meat (with the exception of vit c BUT the less carbs you eat, the less c you need
)
good luck!

You're welcome!
If you train in the morning, it's okay, I'd also get some protein (like yoghurt) about 30 min after the workout.
The AED focuses on anti-estrogenic food to protect from enviromental toxins, but the principles are the same, light food during the day, biggest meal at night. The two diets are essentially the same, just with a different focus. The AED also intruduced fuel cycling (high fat days and high carb days) but as far as I remember, the latest version of the WD also talks about it. If you have the new WD book, the AED is imo not necessary but still an interesting read. It also contains a three week plan which may help some peolpe to get started.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of grains or legumes because of anti-nutrients like lectins, phytic acid,... The least offensive grain is white rice, it is stripped of all nutrients but at least you'll be able to absorb nutrients from the rest of your food. For high-carb days, I prefer sweet potatoes, but not everyone likes them
I guess if Ori wrote the WD today, it would look a little different (not sure about his opinion on grains, nowadays they've become quite controversial). His podcast stopped last year and we haven't heard anything from him since then...

I wouldn't call it good, it does nothing good for your body but at least it contains no (or very little) anti-nutrients like other grains. It will still spike your insulin levels quite a bit
