I am looking to buy the most anti-estrogenic water bottle I can find.  In the FAQ section Ori states hard plastic bottles are much less a problem than soft plastic....how much less of a problem?  I am thinking the HDPE model by nalgene is probably the best bet.  Also, what are the thoughts on alumininum??? Oh and glass is not an option.

I use a glass jar.  You know, the one you get for "free" after finishing a jar of pickles/coconut oil/olives/etc size that you want.  The lid is probably fine if it's made of hard plastic or metal.  Though, I'd watch some of the metal lids because they have a light rubber/soft ring around the inside edge/top of the lid to prevent spillage of a liquid.  Undecided

Having finished the three phases of the Estrogenic Diet (yielding an overall feeling of well being), my husband and I decided to make several long term lifestyle changes.  One of those was to discard (via recycling) all of the plastic water containers our family uses and eliminate the usage of bottled water (which our children grab for school and sports on a daily basis).  I found this link for those of you "on the go" who may be interested in doing the same.  Not sure my kids will think these are "cool" enough for school, but now it's their only choice.  Roll Eyes

Hello - go to www.mercola.com and type in the search box for an article on nalgene water bottles.  Apparently not so great, along with the polycarbonate ones as well.  I myself am really concerned, as I am guilty of convenience and filtered water and stored in large polycarbonate containers.  Within 2 months my menstrual cycle STOPPED.  You betcha I am concerned.  Currently filter water and carry to work in a large glass Voss bottle I purchased at Cost Plus.  Am wondering is the Sigg bottles (www.sigg.com) are good - check out the info.  I have emailed Mercola re:safety of both the Sigg and Greenfeet bottles.  Will post when I get an answer....

I just bought two stainless steel water bottles from greenfeet.com.  The 27oz was $15.45 if you purchase one, but if you purchase more than one, they are $13.91.  The shipping is very reasonable.  They are located in Chico, CA.  I highly recommend them!  You also get to pick from the tyipe of cap you want.  Very cool!
