I've been following the warrior diet for some time now and so far so good - however having checked my body measurements two days ago I'm a little worried. Okay so I know us girls are meant to have the child bearing hips lol but seriously I've lost cm's off every other measurement, chest, waist, thigh, calves but my hip measurements are the same. Damn it!!! Its getting angry and upset at the same time Embarrassed

So tell me, if I'm doing the warrior diet, there doesn't seem to be a major difference between the foods consumed between that and the AED, is there?

thanks,

(fed up and frustrated) Butternut....

Hey. I hear you, and frankly, you need to give it time.  I'm 18, a girl, and totally used to have bigger hips, and I've lost quite a lot of them.  Now my hips are smaller than most of the girls in my living community.

I've been on the warrior diet/intermittent fasting for a solid 5-6 months now and the hips just started toning up in the past month.  So, it takes time for your body to tweak itself. Hormonal balance also surely has a lot to do with it.

How long have you been on the WD?

Hi there Smiley

Okay I think I've been on it for roughly 3 months - I'm not sure as I wasn't aware I was doing the "warrior diet", a friend was helping me out but never gave me the name of it but I came across it and haven't been able to speak to my friend for a while...and I thought so that's what I've been doing.

Its really upsetting, I sink soooo low when I measure my hips. Ok I've had 2 kids and I'm 33 so my body is is a little more stubborn. My hormones are okay, I get the occassional PMS too though. That's why I'm asking if there is a large difference between the WD and AED....if there isn't I'll stick to what I'm doing but if there is then I'll change over.

Thanks for hearing me out, it can be so depressing....

Butternut, if you're having an issue with PMS and the stubborn fat in the hips, we've got a PMS program (still in the midst of getting all of the webpages up for it), that might just be the ticket for what you're looking for.  And, if you're having this issue, I would say "yes" the AEDiet, along with the PMS Relief e-Guide is the ticket for you.  Check this out the link below:

PMS Relief Kit (http://www.defensenutrition.com/cart/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=36)

Also, read this article:

Women & Estrogen (http://www.defensenutrition.com/article/women-and-estrogen)

Let me know if this helps!

I agree, it has taken me a fair bit of reading to get through it all. At this stage though, alot of things come down to affordability for me  Roll Eyes I'll be purchasing the AED in the d/l version pretty soon.

Thanks for the info, it was very detailed and just what I was looking for.

May I suggest getting a bellydancing video... I recommend one by a set of twins Neena and Veena... you can google their names and it'll pull up a bunch of stuff... I have a 4 video set that I've had for years... The moves are not too difficult and you'll find muscles you never realized you had... This type of exercise will help you tone your entire body and work the muscles in your middle... Its also great to learn how to isolate muscles for movement and will help when you want to target and tone specific muscles all over the body.

You know I was having a complaint session to my doc not too long ago - she suggested the very same thing. It ain't my thing lol but I think I've beaten myself up over this so much I think I'm going to look into it.

I don't have VHS I've only got a dvd player - I'm going to see if I can attend some classes down here. Btw I'm in Sydney Australia so the shipping isn't all that local but thank you very much for the offer.

I'm think I'm going to shift into phase 2 today...I'm just waiting for a response from Rick LOL
