Hi
I'm 16, and I'm thinking about giving the Warrior Diet a try. Some people say I shoud'nt, and some say it won't affect my growth, but I may have touble putting on more muscle mass. I spoke with a fellow Warrior Diet follower, and he said he started it at around the age of 15! This reminds me of the spartans life style. Throughout a young spartan's life he was extremely underfed, but if being underfed would stunt your growth, then would'nt we hear something in the battle of Thermoplea about the 300 spartans beeing short? What do you guys think?

These comments have surely been made by people who lack any deeper knowledge when it comes to nutrition. If that were true pretty much all hunter/gatherer-societies and older cultures, both advanced and primitive, would have been populated by pygmies Smiley.Itīs is true that humans have gotten taller, but the fact that weīve begun to eat more often has hardly anything to do with that, thatīs just evulotion in the works. In fact new studies have shown that when it comes to physical development thereīs no benifit gaind from eating several times a day compared to one, aslong you get all the nutrients(both macro-and micronutrients)you need.
So donīt listen to all those negative remarks about the diet, if you feel like this is something you want to try then go for it.

When I started this way of eating everyone in my family thought I was crazy , but when is snacking on fruits and nuts considered crazy , I'll even throw in a protein shake or two after working out , and when it comes to the main meal follow the guidelines and it all works out , you may need to tweak it here or there to fit your needs but give it a good couple of months to work. Also don't deny yourself the occasional stuff your face with any and all things you can I.E Thanksgiving , X-mas , Birthdays etc....
