Are you a regular teen, tired of everyday nagging by your parents? Now you can give your parents and yourself a break by practicing some healthy and balanced eating habits so that you not only experience a fresh mood yourself but can also keep your parents from worrying about you.

Here are some tips that you can incorporate into your daily routine for a healthy body and mind.

Do not miss breakfast: Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Though, at times, you may not get enough time to sit down and have your breakfast, at such times you may very well go in for a banana or similar fruit that you can have while on the go.

Try to have a homemade lunch: You can never be sure about the hygiene consideration in outside foods, that most teens prefer to have. Although, these may look hygienic on the outside, they may not actually be. Therefore, it is always advisable to have a homemade lunch that allows you to have better control over the foods you eat.

No soda: This might be extremely difficult to follow, especially for the teenagers. However, you may as well know that you drink most of your calories from soda, which itself gets its calories from sugar. A very good way of losing on your excess weight is by cutting soda out of your diet.

Make intelligent selection of restaurants: One of the favorite hangouts for most teenagers are the restaurants, but this is also the place where you put on maximum calories. You need to be really careful before entering a restaurant. Instead of going in for a restaurant that serves only fried foods or sugary desserts, try to opt for restaurants which serve salads or fresh fruits or any kind of low calorie dish.

Help with grocery shopping: One of the best ways to have a control on dishes that go on your lunch or dinner table is by helping your parents with the grocery or cooking. This way you can possibly choose your favorite veges and fruits.

It does sound like a copy and paste job.

I think intermittent fasting probably isn't appropriate until puberty is complete anyhow, a partial insulin resistance is said to occur naturally in the latter stages of puberty that is thought to contribute to the process. I think it is best to eat more and perhaps more frequently during these years.

Your parents may be too busy to cook a super-healthy meal, but that doesn't meal that you can't! By offering to help with grocery shopping or cooking, you'll have a bit more control over what goes on the dinner table. The more healthy foods you can eat, the better.

Daily exercise and a proper diet are one of the most advisable way to help you reduce weight and to live healthy. It is also advisable if you play some sports because it is the best routines that you can do everyday. It is better if you eat vegetable and fruits to have effective diet.

My advice for a teenager: Be very active--enjoy it because one day you may have to work all the time. Take advantage of sleep (8-9hrs). Do not give into the conformity of your peers who are possibly practicing bad habits (i.e. eating processed fast food, smoking and drinking substances). Eat a diet that includes fresh vegetables, small portions of fruit, protein and fats (EFAs), and eat small amounts of carbohydrates before and after sports. And lastly, do not ingest the "latest supplement" because Johnny or Josie says that it makes him or her stronger--that's not true.

Diet tips of teenagers are manageable especially now that modern technology is here.  Teens diet for a variety of reasons, but regardless of the reason they need to know how to do so healthily. Some tips are: Eat breakfast, Bring your own lunch, No Soda, and Make good restaurant choices.

Yes these are best diet tips for our teenagers. At present time life is so busy that one cannot look out at the diet he consume so its better that parents or the expert should speak to them regarding their food selections, however attempt to not be confrontational.
Discuss why they need chosen the diet – is it peer pressure?
Be a decent role model. You can’t expect them to prevent dieting if you're perpetually counting the calories.
Provide healthy alternatives at home.

Proper guidance is must in selection of diet pill.
