Hello there,

this is my first post in this forum.
Let me introduce myself.

My name is Marcel, born Nov. 1986 from Germany.
I am a very active person, doing weightlifting, weight resistance and cardio training 4-6 times a week for quite some time already. Right now im fit enough to run 10km as warmup prior to my normal activities. At times by body fat percentage was like 8% but I never had a six pack, quite annoying.
For quite some time I follow the philosophy that the human is a hunter and that our body is not adapted to this immense amount of processed carbs people consume nowadays. Basicly I have been following the warrior diet without the timing part, without even knowing about it. Later i discovered the concept through an austrian olympia athlete (Jürgen Reis), he looks so awesome with his 3,2 percent body fat.
So i immediatly ordered the book and started reading, it was written so well, that even i as a non native speaker was able to understand everything. infact it took me like 1 day to read myself through the book to the chapter about the main meal. Enough to start this diet.
My goal is as the topic states, unleashin unlimited energy. I want to be able to run a marathon and another one the next day :p

I decided to make photos of my journy and write down my weight and body fat percentage (according to my electronic scale.. i know its not very exact but it gives a hint about the direction im going)
I make the photos in the morning always.

So.. here we go. This is the first morning (so where we start, didnt do warrior diet the day before):

Day #5
(http://maci.satgnu.net/.me/WD/D0005.jpg)
70.4 kg; 12.2 %BF

Im wondering about the increase in body fat. Is that explainable?
Is it just loss of water retention?

Anyhow.. 5 Days on the WD now and i feel great.
The part i like most about it: the sharpened senses. Already feel some deep instincts coming back.
Even after such a short timeframe i feel completly different.
Lets see how this goes on...

Day #7
(http://maci.satgnu.net/.me/WD/thumbs/D0007.jpg.thumb.jpg) (http://maci.satgnu.net/.me/WD/D0007.jpg)
71.3 kg; 10.6% BF

I decided to postthumbnails with links instead to not bloat the topic too much.

This is the 7th day now.... and the first one with an increase in weight.
Is this normal?
Its not too bad since my body fat did only increase very little.

Day to day fluctuations man, dont stress em. Its the trend that matters, not the micro peaks and valleys. What do your food choices look like? Counting calories?

Day to day fluctuations man, dont stress em. Its the trend that matters, not the micro peaks and valleys. What do your food choices look like? Counting calories?

Undereating phase: its mostly like this:1 whey isolate right after standing up, 2 apples, 1 pear, 2 eggs, 250ml joghurt or 500ml buttermilk, handfull of sunflower seeds or other kind of nuts, and a whey isolate right after workout.
overeating phase:
1. mixed salad, no dressing
1.5 (sometimes) raw veggies .. i mostly put them into the salad
2. mix of different colour capsicum, carrots with a bunch of fresh herbs, onion and garlic, cooked
3. bunch of proteines either from fish, meat or eggs (i cycle these 3)
4. if i still feel hungry either a nuts/seeds mix, almonds, or a few slices of fresh whole-grain bread with cheese or sausage

i dont count calories at all, i used to do so, but right now i just stop eating when i am really satisfied.
... i know that fluctuations dont matter that much and the trend is more important. but imho recording the values every day can give me a better view at the trend. it easily allows to create graphs, etc...
anyhow.. another day, another progress... (even tho i followed the "try to kill a pizza" thingy last night Wink... ofc i still had salad etc)

Day #9
(http://maci.satgnu.net/.me/WD/thumbs/D0009.jpg.thumb.jpg) (http://maci.satgnu.net/.me/WD/D0009.jpg)
