What is everyone's thoughts on the consumption of raw meats? Does anyone out there on the warrior diet consume their meat mainly raw? I have a great source for organic meats and have started to experiment a little. Just wondering what everyone else's thoughts are.

I'm with Charles .... aside from sushi, I stick with cooked meats - mainly for taste.

If it's good quality and organic, raw meat is awesome! You have to experiment a little bit, though, and do it right if you want to consume it without gagging. Personally, I think the best way to prepare raw meet is to grind it up and mix it with some good herbs and spices and some crushed or diced garlic or red onion. Otherwise, you can slice it paper thin and serve it with some capers, olive oil, and a touch of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar (and don't forget salt and pepper). If you can't get a hold of a meat grinder, then just get yourself a sharp knife or clever and chop the meat up as much as you can. Just be super careful with handling the meat. Once you chop it/grind it, you don't want to store it for too long for risk of bacteria. The best way to do it is to buy the meat fresh and prepare and eat it the same day.
The health benefits of eating raw meat pretty much goes without saying. We all know by now that cooking food can really denature not only the nutrients, but the the protein as well, and therefore providing less bio-availability. In fact, the Eskimos ate a diet of mostly raw meats and fats. While some of it would be cooked in a stew sometimes, their usual preference was to eat it raw. There have been many studies on the Eskimo's diet and their survival on raw meats and very little few vegetables and fruits. It's some pretty interesting stuff and I'd recommend doing some research on it.
Some good herbs and spices that go well with ground raw meat are:
Coriander
Clove
Parsley
Cumin
Mustard seed
Marjoram
Thyme
Don't forget the olive oil, garlic/red onion, salt and pepper.
Otherwise take a look at some recipes online for steak tartar.

Thanks Geronimo8201. I have been experimenting with a mostly raw diet for a little over a month. I have noticed an increase in my general sense of well being. I have also noticed an increase in the health of my fingernails. Strange but I had ridges in several of my fingernails and they are almost completely gone. I had them for about the last 10 or so years. I am following a Warrior path in that I eat only small portions during the day with a large meal at night. It really seems to be working for me. I guess time will tell.

That's great to hear, JDS. Not a lot of people venture into the raw meat realm, but it seems as if you took the plunge and it's really working out well for you.
