For those on the fence on whether to do this "Warrior" thing or not this is some motivation for you.
I started my get in shape journey on Feb 6 of this year after I weaned my youngest son. After losing about 30lbs the traditional way (actually not so traditional I used Mary Lou Henners Plan) my weight loss pace seemed to slow down. I got on the internet and started to research metabolism. I came across a blog about the benefits of eating one big meal in the evening and he referred to the "Warrior" lifestyle. The minute I read the details I realized that it was how I had essentially eaten my entire Highschool and College Years unintionally. I never had a weight issue then. I began the "Warrior" lifestyle about mid March since then I have lost 55 lbs but more imprtantlly the resuts with my body is amazing! Historically I was never an overweight person, but after having each of my kids Iwould pack on the pounds and lose it about a year after the baby was born. However never achieved the body I have now. Talk about fat burning! yesterday I went shopping for clothes before a trip hubby and I are taking. The sales girl asked what size I wore. I hadn't bought pants in ages! I suggested a 6 or an 8 she looked at me and said NO WAY hunny you are at most a 0. I was doubtful but guess what I WAS a 0!!!!!!! I've never been a 0 ever even in College! The 0 was loose as well. I know sizes vary , but every store I went to (and there were many) it was the same. I had a goal when I began my weightloss jounrney to fit into this tiny suit I owned that I had only previously been able to fit into when weighing about 127 or so. I was able to wear that suit  on this plan while weighing in the 140's. Now at 125 that suit is big. WHY? because on Warroir your body is burning Fat and building Muscle which produces a nice cut frame. Yes I exercise everyday quite vigorously, but I did that before on other plans and never achived a body like this! warrior works for me! I'll NEVER go back to my old eating habits. To all the women doing this don't stop ! It works BIG TIME

Hi Venee, Congrats on your success!  I was just wondering what your typical day looks like for meals?  I've been doing warrior for the last year and a half and lost 80 pounds, but now I seem to be at a standstill, with still another 40-50 pounds to go, so I was wondering what you normally eat and maybe I could tweak my diet for the better.  Thanks so much!!

Congratulations on your success! I would like to know more details about what a typical day looks like for you. Also, how has your body composition changed since you started the diet (i.e., percent body fat, lean muscle mass)? Do you think you might have lost lean muscle in addition to fat?

Hi Venee, Congrats on your success!  I was just wondering what your typical day looks like for meals?  I've been doing warrior for the last year and a half and lost 80 pounds, but now I seem to be at a standstill, with still another 40-50 pounds to go, so I was wondering what you normally eat and maybe I could tweak my diet for the better.  Thanks so much!!

For meals I may have a protien shake if I get the chance to work out during the day (I have small kids and hubby works so my big workouts are after 5PM usually) If I don't get the chance to work out I just do water. Or Lemon water. At around 8PM I break the under eating fast ALWAYS with a huge salad. I use fresh spinach as the base then add broccoli, carrots, peppers sometimes black beans, onion, cucumber ,hummus, avacado. When I say huge I mean the size of a large mixing bowl. I use Balsamic vinegrette dressing the veggies vary, but I always use a spinach base. I then wait about an hour and eat whatever protien I want that day I don't eat red meat so it's always some type of fish (LOVE Salmon) or chicken and sometimes eggs that alongs side more veggies or lentils whatever I'm in the mood for. I again let that digest and and I eat some carbs in the form of my absolute favorite Kashi cereal Go Lean original or crunch or a mix. I need the fiber to stay regular (TMI). I take a multivitamin for women from GNC as well. There are somethings I've satyed away from, such as no white carbs, no white rice, white pasta etc. no white bread, or large amounts of bread at all, no processed sandwich meats, no heavy dairy (cheeses, milk products). Yes when there are Bdays etc I'll have a small piece of cake or the occasional dessert, but (and this is just my hang up) I won't eat stuff like that unless I've had a very hard workout day. Hope this helps.

I described what I eat upthread, but as far as a typical day as it pertains to Warrior I work out between little ones naps and when hubby can watch kids, so I do Pilates, 6 days a week and an hour of cardio 6 days a week. I'm concentrating on my lower body so I do step ups 3 days a week and lunges. My body fat % is 18% Not having been seen by a trainer I wouldn't know about the lean muscle mass. I can only go by how I  looked and what I was able too wear my entire life. I didn't know anything about Body Fat % until I started Warrior and getting back in shape so i don't know what my % was previously.
