And yes i am back...

Around 10 pounds overweight than my WD weight(still normal for my height)i finally decided that conventional eating is not for me.Its not that i feel tired during the day or i dont have energy for my workouts. Its that i really want to lose some weight.

The Warrior Diet is a double edged sword. It can be adapted to your needs if you are willing to give it an honest try.But try going off and you will see some horrible things happening. The worse is this:every meals is gonna feel like an overeating meal. Thus your mind is gonna tell you,hey i am not full, lets eat some more. And you listen to it....And the scale keeps going up and up.And you need a lot of discipline to get back on track. But i dont have it.

So here i am,going to give the Warrior Diet another try.I am still doing capoeira and started some weight lifting.I will post my starting weight tomorrow and i one of my weight routines.I seriously dont know if i must follow a WD or AED protocol but the only thing for sure is that tomorrow, after my post workout meal,i will try to fast!

Nice to see you all again guys  Wink

Hi Apostate, I am thinking of starting the WD, but you said once you go off it, it kinda stuffs you up. I would mainly like to feel higher energy levels, and lose a couple kilos of slow moving body fat. I've heard that a man needs approx 1 gram of  protein per kilo. If I don't eat all day, does that mean I need to eat 90 grams of protein at dinner? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Hah now i have a new nick Cheesy

Welcome! The WD is definitely going to work for you if you have a normal work and training schedule.I dont have one so for me that why i didnt work 100% at first. But if you can give yourself around 2 hour to eat until you feel ok and then have some time to relax and let the food digest then you are golden!Regarding protein, its one macro that i totally dont count.I just make sure that i have a main protein source every day like eggs, fish, meat and then my nuts, seeds and tahini really add to the amount!I think that you will be ok even with 75% of the current recommendation. The best thing is to start. When you start you can log your progress and make slight modifications!

Undereating
2 apricots
3/4 melon
2 apricots

Exercise
Warm up
With my kettlebell i did the following routine
Snatch 5
One arm row 7
Russian twists 7+7
One handed squat 8
One armed swings 15+15
Rest 45 sec
4 rounds

Post workout 3 eggs with 1 yolk

Overeating
Salad
225 g of salmon with a lot of curry.around 75 g of goat cheese
1.5 handful of almonds,walnuts blended tahini,cocoa.

Comments
Still sore calves but at least i can walk!So tasty fruits are in season and i feel bad if they go bad  Grin
The workout was good although i could feel my legs needed some more recovery...Well i wanted to workout and that what i did!I think that i could have done one more round but oh well, its ok...The post workout was more like a fear of not having protein than a necessity...Although 30 minutes before my big meal i could hear my stomach growling...
Nice easy and simple overeating! So glad that i can eat fish during the week! Its so damn light and it leaves more space for nuts hahahaha.I am a little sad though to have found out that the cheese really makes me feel somewhat...I told my mom to stop buying it,gave her a big lecture on lactose intolerance and we are all happy now  Cheesy
Tomorrow its a meeting day at my best friends house and we will have some junk food from outside...I am not sure if i can avoid it but if i cant i will try to eat lightly..Just in case i will do a strength workout before going there, eat a nice salad and get ready for carb absorbing!
I am going to his house now to watch some movie  Grin

And yes against all odds i did it!
I slept at my best friends on Friday night and we ended up sleeping at 4 am.I woke up at 8:30.....I have noticed that whenever i dont sleep well my mental discipline is really really weak and thus i am really susceptible to eating junk.BUT I WITHSTOOD IT!OK i might ate a lot during the undereating and i might went a little overboard on Saturday but damn it,no junk whatsoever!I am really proud!
I wanted to workout today but i was still tired(i laid down at 15:00 and rose at 17:10.....) so i decided to let the strength workout for next weekend
The overeating these days was a bit dirty with the salami and the sausages but i wanted something else so i made them! And dare i say that they were DELICIOUS!And the 5 handfuls of nuts........Oh boy,a dream come true!Next week its gonna be even more controlled so lets just celebrate my first week junk free  Grin
I also had the chance to overeat like a normal WD-er,with my overeating starting at 19:30 every day! What a nice change!Tomorrow lets hope i will do both cap lessons. Also my calves are pretty much 100% again so i am ready!

It depends. If i am after capoeira, then one hour max.I literally eat the salad with the protein, wait a little and then have the fat.But if i have the time,i am enjoying my meal and its lasts between 2 hours  Wink

I officially hate high carb days....Tasteless,limited options since i seem to have some gluten intolerance(i was farting like crazy with the first plate of the pasta!)and i just cant seem to eat enough .I keep eating and eating and nothing,i want more...I have to buy some lentils damn it...
Today was a great day!I fasted the whole time and if i am right, the fast lasted for around 27-28 hours! Not hungry at all although i think that the high carb day had something to do with it...I want to try fasting tomorrow as well!Capoeira went really good!I am finding my old rhythm and i am glad!Tomorrow i hope i can spend some time doing acrobatics  Grin
Overeating today was good but damn it,i wasnt hungry at all....I mostly ate because i felt obliged to...Strange things...I will be going to the supermarket tomorrow and buy some hazelnuts and macadamia for variance  Cheesy
No water after overeating

Undereating
Fasted until 16:25.Then had a red grape fruit
17:25 5 fruits that i dont know how they are called in English...They are small and green, and have a rather soft body...Oh well. Also 3 apricots

After capoeira 2 handfuls of organic strawberries. It seems that a guy from cap grows organic strawberries and brought some with him  Grin

Exercise
2.5 hours of capoeira

Overeating
Salad
Chicken with some grape tomatoes
Nut pizza!
(http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/3320/0015acj.th.jpg) (http://img21.imageshack.us/i/0015acj.jpg/)
Here is the recipe
1 handful almonds,2 handfuls hazelnuts
1 whole egg,1 egg white
4 heaping teaspoons of tahini(sesame paste)
Blended nuts, then added tahini.Mixed it a little and then i added the egg.I mixed it for enough time in order to get a "dough" texture. Then i put it into the oven, turned temperature at 250 and waited.I probably waited more than what was needed because the dough rose in the center...Anyway it tasted really good!I added some deer salami and some grape tomatoes after i removed it from the oven and it was yummie!

Comments
Normal day today!Read for tomorrow's test, tried to lie down a little but my stomach was growling so hard i just couldnt rest.Interestingly enough, apart from mornings toilet visit,i had two more bathroom trips the first one was while water fasting and the other after the fruits. To my surprise i eliminated a lot after the 3rd time
Capoeira was a killer today but i withstood  Grin I wanted to try and see if i could make it through while fasting but the growling was kind of annoying so i said screw you and ate a little. The second class was really demanding and when we finished i lied down a little gazing into the space Tongue
Overeating was great today! The nut pizza was a recipe from crossfit and i kindly copied it  Smiley The original recipe used many more veggies, but the skillet needed washing and i just didnt have the courage...Tomorrow i am gonna make it perfect though!I am thinking that combining pistachios, almonds and hazelnuts will give the dough a unique taste! The next idea is to make some stuffed veggies(zucchini or bell peppers)with nuts and balsamic vinegar!Oh its gonna taste great. The only drawback is that these things need some time and by the time i return from cap, around midnight,i only wanna eat and then rest.Oh well!
No water again

Ah summer is just not for working out...I go out for one minute and i sweat.I sit in front of the pc and i sweat.I do 5 pull ups and i sweat.I just dont have any desire to workout alone with so much heat.At capoeira its different but still i need to persuade myself to go
These pasts days were not that great.I was sore again after cap and frankly with the tests i have even less desire to workout. On Wednesday i finish though so i hope to get back.
Weight loss has stalled but its ok,since i didnt workout.
Eating has been also random these days.I might start doing a eat every 3 hours plan where i will eat some small fruits to keep my binges under control...

Busy days...Yesterday i spent the whole day fixing the closet and then i just couldnt persuade myself to workout.Oh well.I did a small strength workout today and to my disappointment i have lost my pistol balance...the strength is there though. The swings were really hard and at the end i could feel my abs aching
Eating went well these days,i didnt felt the need to get creative but i may do it tomorrow.I might make some flax seeds bread and try to combine it with something!
One more lesson to go,today i was writing for 2 hours non stop but in the end i think that i scored a 7(the best is 10)I also didnt feel hungry during the day, except for the melon i ate after the mini workout. Also i am glad to see that once again i weight less than 85 kg!Lets see tomorrow
Tomorrow i will spent most of my time at home so i will surely will have energy for capoeira Grin I am gonna aim for the 14 remaining classes!

Well i tried to put on my contact lenses today and be the time the lens touched my eye i felt it burning! It seems that the liquid i used for the lenses wanted something else as well. There goes one couple of lenses...
Mom bought many many fruits as you can see and i indulged in them.Tomorrow i will have to restrain myself!
Capoeira went well today but again,it seems to me that my game-endurance has suffered. The only way to get it back is training so i dont complain!I might also start incorporating some small workouts during the day since i am not as sore as before
Eating was a little dirty with the sausages but i didnt have any eggs left...Tomorrow i will go and buy some myself!Oh i also purchased some flax seeds, flaxseed oil and some lentil from an organic shop.I think that i read somewhere that if you wanna balance monounsaturated fats with poly's you must consume a blend of olive oil and flax oil.I am gonna try to find the source and start making the correct combination tomorrow. It goes without saying that if any of you know anything i would love to hear it Cheesy
Also weighted self again today

84.7kg

Still losing baby Grin I hope the sausages and the fruits will be forgiving tomorrow.....

Dano bro,13 more days for hazelnut heaven Cheesy

Swimming in a whirlpool of hazelnut butter will certainly be a kingly reward, my friend.
That, and being really kick ass at capoeira.
