What, the baking soda or the bread isn't useful? I can't see why baking soda would be restricted. Sodium bicarbonate is not exactly a killer substance or an estrogen-raiser or anything like that. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I use it as a deodorant by the way! It's excellent and so cheap it's practically free. Just mix a little in the palm with a drop or two of water to make a paste and run it under the pits. All day protection, no nasty aluminium or any other chemicals. Been doing this for two or three years now.

yes datay, i use it in the carpet between steamings and it takes orders out with no strangling perfume.  funny story, i started using the salt crystal deoderant on a fluke a couple months ago. well, the other day i grabbed my old aluminum deoderant and now i have a rash on my underarms.  seems my body is rejecting the aluminum, or fragrance or something.     think ill give the baking soda a try, thanks!

There is evidence that baking soda can destroy B vitamins in the wheat when used in baking. I read that somewhere but never bothered to verify it so take it with a grain of salt.

You really don't need much - quarter teaspoon at most. Any more and you smell like the school toilets after the cleaners been in.
