1 hour later 25-30 g protein

I am just starting with WD and I went for my first morning run today. I felt some discomfort in my stomach area. What I want to ask is whether you are emptying your bowels prior to morning workouts.  Grin

I have done great with this recovery program for quite some time. Yet I have a question regarding the intake of just 25-30 grams of pure protein after the initial post work out recovery which consists of 25-30g protein & 25g carbs.

I have heard it is toxic to ingest protien with no fuel source - so my question remains:

Would ingesting the 25-30g of defense nutrition's whey protein plain as the source of protein without carbs still be considered toxic?

Thanks Webmaster for your reply on this.  I just started the WD this week.  I am working out first thing in the morning everyday with running and adding KB workout on MWF before dinner.  Dinner usually is not until around 7:30pm, so I am famished by then.  I will follow the recover meal for the morning workout and use the main meal at night for the recovery meal on MWF.

Officially started on Tuesday morning...I have lost 4lbs. already this week.  I felt best yesterday, very alert and not hungry at lunchtime as has been the case in the past years.  I feel good about the start.

Thanks.

I'm using the WD too.
My aim is to use only natural food, so after my daily training session (strength training, KBell training, conditioning) I use to eat some berries and a grapefuit, maybe a couple of raw carrots.

Some hours later i chunk down some more veggies, fresh raw tomatoes, or some green salad or some carrots (something easy to grab and eat on the go...)

I usually train early in the am, and then have my main meal at 10pm.

I would like to use only natural food, but I'm seriously thinking about adding a protein powder supplement.
It's really difficult to get some serious muscle mass. My main aim it's not "to be big", I'm quite lean (6-7%BF with 7 point measurment), but I would like to look less "scrawny" Grin

Any advice?

Many thanks in advance.

BTW I'm not english mothertongue, so I beg your pardon for my language, and I would like to say that I'm glad to join this forum.

This is the first I heard of this diet. I  know it's old but how has it done for all you that have tried it. I've been on a all protein diet for a few weeks and weight has dropped and I hit the gym 4 days a week. I lost all the weight I wanted now going to pump more iron to build more muscle.
