Hello friends,

                  There is a good news for all coffee drinkers.

It is said in a survey that coffee contains the stimulating materials

that keeps the person active throughout the day.So grab a cup  and go ahead.........

Caffeine is a pretty stimulating material, no one's ever denied that Smiley Apparently there are some antioxidants which I like. Still there are a lot of anti-caffeine advocates and things, trying to figure out what they're going on about.

On wikipedia I read it stimulates your concentration, but apparently lessens memory encoding and stuff. So you perform better... but you don't learn as much from the performance? In relation to school I'd think it'd be good for writing tests, but bad for studying for them, in that case.

eh, wikipedia really isnt a reliable source in my opinion, however i still want to find our more of what your saying upon caffine. Anyone have any information to add upon his research?

I had a conversation with Ori over the weekend about coffee.  He's a big advocate of it - says that it has anti-oxidants and is very beneficial for the body.  I know he drinks quite a bit of it on a daily basis.  I can't quote you all of the science, but I do know how particular Ori is about his diet and can tell you that he wouldn't touch it if his research had indicated anything negative regarding caffeine and health.  He even said that decaf can have its benefits as well.  I know that he prepares his coffee quite strong, drinks it throughout the day and always uses a French press to make it.

I don't like coffee. Never have. My dad used to drink it by the gallon but I never developed a taste for it. Tea on the other hand, I love.

I usually drink 2 bottles of green tea a day. I put water and a tea bag in an empty glass bottle and put it in the fridge overnight and take them to work with me the next day along with water.

I LOVE coffee.
I can go weeks without it, but I just LOVE it.

My family drinks it a lot.
And we drink the Turkish, strong coffee, the one where the spoon stands in the cup.   Tongue and after you drink it, you read your future out of it...  Grin

After seing how much my mom drinks it, I did some research on it and came to the conclusion, that if it's from a good source, then it's good for you (and of course, if you're ok with caffeine), the biggest problems are the chemicals they are using to process the beans.
So, one of the things in my bag when I leave home for half year, is defenitely coffee. So, it's not freshly grinded, but it's delicious.

Did you know that in some mental hospitals they give coffee to their depressed patients to help them feeling happier? Really, I read that in a serious study...  Smiley

Coffee may even accelerate fat burning since it stimulates the adrenal glands; adrenal hormones are seemingly of primary importance in terms of stimulating fat burning.

Does anyone happen to have a list containing the carb content of popular brands of coffee, such as starbucks' french roast?

I believe that black coffee is essentially carb free, but i have heard that this is not always the case.

I've checked starbucks' site before, but they don't really mention much about the nutritional content of brewed coffees. I've contacted them before, but that was to no avail. If you have any insiders at starbucks, please ask them for me.

 Actually several things we like actually are good for you... Wine, coffee, chocolate {dark} have bennies that you can not deny..

 I was also stated that regular coffee drinkers do not exhibit the blood pressure raise as less frequent coffee drinkers do.
 I would how ever give your system a break and your adrenal glands a rest every so often:)

 I drink one cup a day for the energy, but also what it offers...

 It has also been recently said that a bottle of Guinness is actually good for you too!!

Wine, chocolate, beer, coffee... is this still reality or my own version lol...HuhHuh?

Guiness and other dark beers are supposed to have antioxidants in them but it still doesn't make it good for you. Beer is still estrogenic but if you drink the dark beers, it appears you do at least get the antioxidants.

I've never been a big beer drinker, but whenever I used to drink it, I would always drink dark, as I loved the rich taste.  But, since being associated with Ori, I've learned how estrogenic beer is.  I haven't had a beer in almost 3 years now.  When I do want to drink, I usually go for red wine.
