I don't know. I guess that depends on what you like. Some people like the rich taste of full cream milk. Some don't. Maybe on your low fat days you should drink it with less cream if you're having it with dinner. Otherwise, I don't know that it matters much.

Well, honestly, Ori has kind of blown the whole "fat creates fat" thing out of the water when it comes to eating, although I'm sure it's wise to not overdo it. I use real cream in my coffee and 2% organic milk when I drink it. I used to only drink skim in everything. Since I've cleaned up my diet, it hasn't made one bit of difference in regards to gaining fat or anything. I've stayed very lean and my blood chemistry has been great. I'd say that a good rule of thumb is that the closer a food is to its natural state - the better.

Im drinking organic, pasteurized though unhomogenized full cream milk. Is it still good even though its pasteurized? Is anyone drinking unpasteurized milk? I can't find unpasteurized dairy anywhere.

Unpasteurized milk is illegal in some states. Some states you can buy it off the farm. If you want it you'll have to search for it. I drink it.

If you can't find raw milk in your locale, do a search for it on the web - I know there are sources for it there and also, you will probably find a link that lists sources near where your live - I've found that before online. Just do a search on "raw milk sources." I'm assuming they would ship it using dry ice to keep it cold until it reaches you. If you can find it locally, be sure you ask what the cows eat - you don't want it from hormone treated cows or their feed. Grass fed cows are the best with higher amounts of CLA in the milk.

Sure, keep drinking it. I would just make sure that it is organic.

I'm not sure where you are, but there's a brand called "This Land Is Your Land" that still pasteurizes their milk, but does so at lower temperatures, which is supposed to preferential to typical high temp pasteurization. They also sell some great goat's milk.

Raw milk is great. Just be sure where it is coming from. I was consuming raw milk daily and drank a bad batch. I truely felt like death. I actually partially worked with a company that is located in California that produces a large quanity of raw milk products and was not impressed. They used to bottle it in glass, now in plastic, to cut costs. There was even talk whether the cows were truely hormone free.

I'm relieved to read I can still have my cream in my coffee and can still drink my organic whole milk. I did drink raw milk until there was a TB scare at the dairy (a very clean operation, though).
