Argh! Well I decided to join up on the forums as of today after doing a quick search on the one day a meal diet it led met here. My friend had mentioned how he lost a good amount of weight doing it and I got an interest in it.

I started Monday - February 16th. I used to weight 250lbs back my freshman year of high school and with weight training and cardio and etc. I dropped down to 175 my Junior year. My highlight of high school was my junior year. I was toned, felt good and everything. Senior year came and I tried football, the coach obviously made me gain weight..more in muscle though than fat so I did. Gained about 10lbs in muscle and it didn't really affect me much, but I noticed I also had some fat gaining too later in the year. Once football ended I ended out pretty much training I guess. I didn't really keep up with my cardio and stuff but I was doing MMA too so that was my only real cardio. Now I weigh myself as of Monday and weigh 198lbs. I want to lose this and get back down to the 180lbs area or so if possible!

Oh I wanted to know something too for my over eating. What should be the calorie in take range? Does it have to be a certain area or can it be like let's say..a meal that adds up to 500-800 calories?

I personally only do about 100-200 calories during the day.
My main goal is to detox and lose weight, so the less food my stomach is digesting during the day the more chance that this will happen.

400-600 calories seems like a lot to me, but it really depends on what you want to do, how much physical activity your are doing during the day, and what foods you are getting the calories from.

Why don't you post a 400-600 calorie meal that you had in mind, so that we can see what foods your thinking about?

When I said the 400-600 calorie meal I meant to say that was for my over eating and not for the under eating. I too probably or try to stay within the range of 100-300 with what I ate today, not entirely sure. I ate the foods I ate today before I joined up on here.

I just spent about 2 and a half hours at the gym today. Did about 15 minutes in the sauna before I worked out to help me open my pores and help with synthesis, 45 minutes of cardio, about 500 ab workouts, and then chest and triceps and finished it off with another 10 minutes of the sauna.

So should I intake that amount of 400-600 or more for over eating?

Santa,

Keep in mind you are making up for the ENTIRE days worth of nutrients (calories).  You will be surprised how much you need.  You need to utilize the 4 hour window and spread it out to make sure you eat enough.  This is my personal over-eating on a typical day for high fat (and I've seen/continue to see great results):

huge salad of spring mix with 3-5 dif. raw veggies
steamed veggies
6-10 soft boiled eggs (450-750 calories)
3-6 handfuls of nuts (500-1000 calories)

My point is you do not really need to shoot for a specific range at first.  I don't even pay attention to those numbers.  Listen to you body.  When you're full, stop eating.  Make sure you're spreading your body out so you have time to really get the satiety feeling.  This may change when if I hit a plateau.  Then I'll get more technical, but for now I just listen to my body.  Do not over-complicate this diet at first.  You'll learn as time goes on and tweak things as needed.
