did anyone check out the label on ori's new organic multivitamin?
http://www.defensenutrition.com/new_plant_based_multi_vitamins_and_minerals

you're supposed to take 4 capsules/day but the dosage seems REALLY low.
for example, zinc is 0.00007% of your daily needs, magnesium is 0.6, calcium is 2%, iron 4%,...

why even put those tiny amounts into the formula? even if it's the most bio active form i don't think 0.00007% contribute to anything... i know, more doesn't always equal better but some amounts seem to be ridiculously low.also, vit c seems pretty low, ori even sells sepreate vit capsules so it's clearly not an overdosing issue

this is no bash but i was really looking forward to try the new essentials but they're not that cheap (especially with the international shipping & taxes).

i'm no biochemist such as ori is so maybe i don't see the bigger picture but i'd love to have other views on this, maybe even an explanation by ori. (i know i could contact him but it seems at the moment he's too busy to answer any mails...)

ChenZhen, yes these do look like trivial amounts of vitamins/minerals; however I believe that this is a formula that is meant to supplement someone who's already following the Warrior Diet, and is eating well. It could also be that the formula is designed to be taken several times a day also.

thx for your answer!

of course it's ment as a SUPPLEMENT, eating clean is always the most important but i still can't see how 0.00007%, 0.6%,... of something can benefit.
i also wrote an email to ori but of course no answer.
in the last months i ordered 24 cans of his whey which is really expensive for me, living in europe and being a student. and this wasn't my first order from defensenutrition. as a customer i feel i have the right to get answers to my questions (all the other companies seem to be able to manage it) but it's the last time i bought something from this company if that's (see other forum topics) how they treat their customers...

well, thanks again  Grin

on his radio show ori said you're supposed to take 4 capsules per day, only he takes 8 because he is "extremly busy"...
