I agree... he doesn't look very healthy to me. I was attracted to the WD by Ori's writings about it, and what he says and not by the way he looks, that's for certain. But then again, it was rather refreshing to find a picture of a tired, depressed looking guy on his website, instead of the usual fitness model!

Considering the fact that Ori looked so weak and sickly, even with the makeup they always apply for televised interviews, one has to wonder how ill the man looks in real life? Assessing his condition, through the eyes of a doctor, his hair was dry, course and disheveled. His pale skin had a sallow complexion that is indicative of a poor diet and illness. His eyes appeared sunken, dull and unfocused. He sat slumped in his chair, appearing to lack the strength or energy to sit up straight and show some enthusiasm for the topic of discussion. His clothes hung from what appeared to be a frail and overly thin frame, further emphasizing his unhealthy, lack-luster presentation. He was every bit a picture of a malnourished man who is has been following a nutritionally poor and unbalanced diet to the point of endangering his own health. He looked more like a cancer patient than a diet guru out to promote a book about how to obtain the ultimate level of health and fitness through his diet program. It's interesting that this guy who tries to portray such a macho image in his writings, is actually a puny wuss that looks as if he couldn't win a fist fight with a 1st grade girl. If he were feeling healthy and vibrant, he would be sitting up straight, dressed to show a great physique, his skin would glow, his eyes would sparkle, his voice would be energetic and he would be a picture of health and vitality. He was none of those things. He is certainly not a glowing endorsement for the diet he is trying to sell. A potential consumer with half an ounce of sense would be left wondering, why they should feel compelled to buy this book if that is the condition the diet leaves you in? The image he portrayed is not one of good health and fitness.

Ori's just a chill guy. If you want someone to yell at you about a fitness product, go elsewhere. If you want someone to explode out of their shirt, go elsewhere. The Warrior Diet wont be loud enough for you anyways, "dr."

Dr. Are you really that clueless about size and strength. Just bc he looks like a puny wuss (in your words) means nothing as to how strong a man is. It has to do with how much your body can work together. So I'm guessing that you see all these muscle bound dudes benching 600 pounds and see a fine human specimen. There is a difference between functional strength and being strong.
Have you ever thought his looks may be partly due to the life he's lived. It has been a lot tougher than most if not all of us. He was an Israeli Special Forces operator when he was younger. That in and of it self will break a man down physically and mentally. Most SF type of guys are not big, but pound for pound I would take them in a fight against alost anyone in the world, let alone your 1st grade girl. Also, you could see his hair and a lot of the details you pointed out from a you-tube video? That's imporessive.
I guess my main point is if you're going to come on here and publicly bash something like this, get some facts straight. Don't look at a snapshot of someone’s life and pretend you know enough to make some of the claims that you've made. (that is what I’ve done to you in this post as well, so It not fair to you) And just to be fair, I’m not one of the people that see Ori as some celebrity type figure – so this is not me defending an icon in my life. To me he is just like anyone else. I’ve found his contributions worth my time and that is why I follow them. Statistical misuse is just one of my pet peeve’s. (your horrible conclusions from a sample size of 1). There are tons of people who follow this lifestyle that seem a lot different than Ori.

I'm willing to bet that the reason Ori looks like that in these youtube videos is because he refuses to put on makeup for the camera. Anybody that's listened to his radio show knows that he's against excess estrogen and signs of feminism in men. I'm sure he's just taking that a little bit to the extreme and doesn't want to put makeup on for television shows. At the same time, you have to keep in mind that he's not a marketing/salesman and doesn't care about how flashy he is or how young and vibrant he looks. He's here to help people who are willing to help themeselves. He's not trying to hook uneducated people into some new fad that needs a "beautiful" face in order to make up for the lack of sound fundamentals behind a product.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Ori is in his mid 50's (I think it's 54...he mentioned it on one of his podcasts). There's no way that you should try and compare his skone tone and hair consistency to that of some new young athlete that got paid millions in dollars of marketing money to endorse some fashionably new product.

Is it really that important what Ori looks like? As long as
you
are getting the results that
you
want from either the Warrior Diet or the AED, then that's all that matters. If not, there are plenty of other healthy diets to chose from. Since starting the Warrior diet I've gradually moved more and more in the direction of intermittent fasting, and look healthier than ever. The whey protein I use was probably designed by an out of shape guy in a white lab coat, but that doesn't put me off buying it.

Y'know, think of how subliminal it would be if in every video interview, Ori wasn't wearing a shirt. Just a leopard skin loincloth.
"So you are telling us that we eat too many times a day" - Interviewer
"*flexes abs* And we have gotten fatter *flexes abs again* and sicker *and again* because of it *one super long hard flex that bulges into the interviewers microphone*" - ori.
I guarantee people would buy the book within 15 minutes of the interviews closure.

Everyone has their own opinion of what healthy is.
Dr. Andrew Weil thinks healthy is a rolly poly shape like he's got.
