The Warrior Essentials had an expiration date of July.  They're probably fine but should have been pitched.

The Warrior Milk container is very small (yeah, I missed it).  I can buy much bigger containers of other brands at Vit Shoppe for just slightly more $$$$.  I'm mean, 10 servings for $25?

I like the Warrior Diet and have lost a lot of weight but the product line needs work.

I had the same issue when I ordered some Warrior Bars a few months back.  Yes, the line is quite pricey.  I have had very good results on the diet without supplements.

the supplements are for a niche market and are priced accordingly... if you go to trader joes, wholefoods you expect to pay more for a coffee don't you. the quality is higher cause the ingredients are better

you say you can go to vitshop and products cheaper, but are they of the same quality ie pesticide free, what do they use to sweeten it etc?

Just a thought

In fairness to the prices, yes, they are high, but the quality is top notch.  Just a good protein that is chemical free and undamaged is pricey, let alone so many other items.

Kudos to the company --- sent me a replacement for the Warrior Essentials.  The Warrior Milk also doesn't upset my digestion either, so my guess is that all the sugar or crap in previous powders was causing that.

Neutral.  If you're used to the sugar in regular powder, it will taste neutral.  But I have no complaints there.

It mixes well.  Add a couple of tablespoons of cottage cheese and it seems to taste fine together.

I love the warrior milk. As with everything, I wish it cost less but I do realize you have to pay more for good quality.

For those Warriors who don't have all the funds to spend here is what I personally use and it is 100% organic by whey (grass fed cows) & pesticide free.

http://www.lifesource4life.com/protein.html (http://www.lifesource4life.com/protein.html)

I get the unsweetened one.  I really like this brand and it gives you a great write up about it as well.  I only take one scoop at a time cause more than that is just a waste in the body since it can't really digest or need that much.  So read with discerning eyes.

Always,

I noticed there is less than 1 gram of carbs per serving in the lifesource brand.  Is that what you add your pineapple and green & black's powdered chocolate to, or do you take that some days and then make your pineapple/milk/choclate milk other days?  I'm j/w because I'm thinking about trying your pineapple/powdered chocolate milk and see how it works for me.  I have also seen a lot of data saying that you want about 30g of carbs in your post-workout recovery meals.

bob,

did you start with 4 eggs or did you gradulally increase the amount of raw eggs?
the reason i ask is because i tried a recipe from coach sommer, it's a banana pudding with raw eggs and cinnamon. i used two bananas and 3 (organic) raw eggs. a few hours later i had terrible stomach cramps and had to go to the bathroom quite often ;-)
since then i haven't tried raw eggs again but i was thinking about incoporating them again when i run out of whey.

also, did you notice any difference in your recovery (better, same, worse)?

best wishes,
oliver

hmm, thx for the info!

i don't think that the bananas or the cinnamon were the problem, actually, i also had problems when i started to drink organic raw milk, i guess i just overdid it, too much too fast. maybe my digestive system is really sensitive ;-)

i'll try it again in the next few days and see if it's the same
