In the true sense of the word. The warrior diet is not really fasting all day long. It is just undereating and not getting in a certain amount of calories at one sitting. Or to be perfectly blunt. Not eating in a style where you are getting 300 to 400 calories a meal or whatever your BMR allows you to take in.

This is my question. It is not sitting down and doing a traditional 5 to 6 meals a day but rather if you must have a small soursce of lean protein, or some form of fruit which is a low glycemic carb (not bananas) but they are good a  complex carb form. But fruit being that it burns off faster.

The protein source does not have to be large or 30 to 40 grams a sitting.

I know I am asking a lot of questions here and I have not gotten the book yet.( It has not arrirved)

I have put up this diet on my bodybuilding and powerlifting website.

I have not really gotting a lot of feedback but I want to research this more.

I can say this however. I have been doing this for 3 days now and I honestly have seen my energy levels go up.

Some of my pants have been buttoning better. I think mainly due to the fact the my stomach is not swollen with food in it all the time.

I do believe that eating something very small and natural like Fruit or a boild egg throughout the day is important even on this just because I am vastly afraid that my metabolism will slow down and start holding on to fat. This is  fat loss thing for me. I don't worry about strength. Been doing that for years.

Just wanting some feedback. Any suggestions will help.

By the way I work out in the morning. One bodypart a day for 45 minutes and then 30 to 45 minutes of cardio on stationary bike or walking. Low intensity unless i feel froggy.

I listen to the Warrior Within podcast all the time.  One thing that Ori's friend, Marty Gallagher says, is that we should give ourselves permission NOT TO EAT.  He really emphasizes a recovery shake post workout.  I don't know how much he eats again until dinner.

Ori has suggested that you have as many as 3/4 recovery meals each with about 10-20 grams of protein and, I think, 20-30 grams of carbs spaced an hour apart.  This is what I try to do.  Sometimes I snack on nuts throughout the day but most times I have a recovery shake on workout days and then eat a main meal at night.  I don't think I eat enough though during the 4 hour overeating phase, because I am normally satisfied after my first meal.  But on the morning after workout days I am often pretty hungry.

The main idea is to give you body time to heal and detox by not overtaxing digestion.  And, when you are not constantly bombarding your body with food, you burn fat and realign your blood sugar levels.  Then when you exercise during this phase you boost the fat burning effect.

HUNGER IS GODS FOOD, WHEREBY HE NOURISHES THE SINCERE ONES : It's so sad how people are brainwashed into eating themselves sick. All that fasting that went on in bible times where not just spiritual disciplines but also physical cleansings. Hopefully this new movement of allowing the body to "Rest" for periods of time and clean out when it needs will catch on. It simply works.
