Eric,

From what I am understanding. Yes, your main meal consists of High fat/high protein and carbs . You want to have everything from all food groups in the mainl meal. So you are getting plenty of good fat, good protein, good complex carbs and good fiberous vegtables.

As far as the vitamins go. If you cannot afford the vitamins they are selling specifically just for this diet that is okay. Over supplementation is just as bad. You can find organic vitamins from walmart or just about any Drug store.

Some vitamins have a higher yield than others but again this is the big supplement companies and pharma companies wanting you to be hooked on what they produce.

Contrats on your great lifestyle choices.  I wish I was doing what you are when I was 17!

Remember, the Warrior Diet is NOT a low carb diet.  There are days when you cycle fat and carbs, protein and carbs.  But you should not avoid carbs especially with your workout intensity.

The idea is that you start off your main meal with vegetables (salad), follow with protein and then finish with carbs.  Your recovery meals (shakes) will probably be the higher in carbs than protein.  Twenty grams of carbs and 10 gram of protein sounds about right.  Then you can follow up each hour for the next 2 or three with a similar meal (shake) and then undereat until dinner.

I take an raw vitamin that does not require you to have food.  Apparently the synthetic ones require food because your body does not recognize them as food (hmmm).  So the raw makes more sense for me.
