The bad thing about it is being aware of everyday toxins that you have increased sensitivity to now that you are 'detoxified.'  I have developed acutely onset allergies to perfumes, polluted air, chemically-laden food, automobile exhaust, different plastics, rubber, gosh I'd be afraid to touch latex because I've always had a sensitivity to it previous to the warrior diet.

And there's always the hassle of preparing your meal daily, and eating enough, and eating for 4-6 hours.  Eating takes up a lot of time.

However, all the benefits outweigh the cons of daily ridding yourself of allergens and toxic chemicals we are not aware of.  And developing a hard body and furthermore developing a sense of security with my body and state of being just rocks.  period.  Wink

For me it's that crap is so much easier to obtain. It's so easy at the end of the day when you're whipped tired and hungry to just make a quick burger run. I have not started to practice the Anti Estrogenic diet yet I just work the Warrior diet (have already had much success thanks!) and like I said for me it's just easier to order a damn pizza.

I guess this falls under the same category, I personally have motivational issues when it comes to exercise. I'd rather chew off my own foot than hit the gym.

It does become a way of life, however, remember that it is your life - the only one you have.  It's important to do everything possible to protect and nourish yourself.  It's always easier to hit McDonald's or the local pizza joint.  Unfortunately though, over time - this can severely affect your quality of life.  It's a conscious choice.  It takes some effort, but you get used to it.  Eventually those other places and foods just don't have the appeal that they once did.

I used to love fast food but you're right. They just don't have the appeal they once did. But once in awhile, I do get a craving for a burger or some pizza. Sometimes I resist. Sometimes I give in.

I've certainly noticed a lot of sabatoge and people telling me that the undereating principle is wrong (eat 5 meals...up your metabolism....yada yada yada).

I've also noticed that on the AED I've learned to manage my hunger better than I've ever done before...I guess that I don't get very hungry until the 4:00 to right before dinner hours.  One thing that is hard for me though, is if I do splurge and have some cheat foods on the weekend or something, I notice a day of feeling like crap, not wanting to workout the next day, and also major cravings for more cheat foods!  The key is to then fight through those urges, workout, and get back on track.  The reward is to see the body/brain connection let me then avoid having as many cheat days as I progress.

Back to initial post question...most difficult thing. Hmmm...  Shocked . Let's see, that would be working in "the office" full of ladies who do nothing but bake in their spare time. Only a little over a month now on the diet and I have to admit, I still have cravings for all of that stuff.

Remedy: Taking a look in the mirror at my body and what this diet has done for me...that's enough right there to resist the temptation.

By the way, I do treat myself occasionally & the diet still works.  Grin

Sometimes it's hard to be faithful. I recently had to travel for a funeral. My relatives are all very fond of Kentucky Fried Chicken and brownies. Everywhere we went, those were on the menu. I did not eat very healthy on that trip but I didn't gain weigth and picked back up when I got home.

All of these things that you guys mentioned are the magic of the diet.  When you cheat, you feel like crap - that makes it easy to follow.  It's your body's heightened sensitivity to bad food after proper cleansing/detox.  Also, the fact that you can cheat and still stay fit and healthy is an added perk.

Ditto Mod....
Case in point. Last Friday we were running late and the family decided to stop by Wendys.
I had 2 chicken sandwiches and some fries (yeah I know).
I felt somewhere between bad and horrible for about 4 hours afterward.
When one's system is running clean and  lean and it's looking for NOURISHMENT and you load it with fried fat and sodium, what else can one expect? I paid the price. Add to the fact that I'd just spent 40 minutes with my kettlebell and I was nothing short of an idiot.
Next time I'll  have to "Just say no to junk food" and wait until i get home and overeat like a Warrior.
Going on my fifth month the the WD and lovin' every minute of it.

Heh...speaking of family, my brother is a big guy, 6'3 and an ex weightlifter, and a bit flabby since he has been off the weights. But he buys into a lot of mainstream crap like 6 meals a day, yada yada. He was telling me why everything I did was wrong, why the warrior diet was probably not authentic blah blah blah. Then I told him how much weight I had lost (14 kgs, got a flat stomach now) and he was like "WOW!". Just couldn't believe it. This kinda stuff is pretty good proof to win your family over Lips Sealed

You hit the nail on the head.  My mom has noticed how my physique has improved from the warrior diet, and she's given up breakfast now.  I've convinced her to drink full-fat milk instead of 2%, and she isn't afraid of fat now.  Now she's telling our extended family the things I tell her about health-related things.

People can't ignore what they see!  Looks are everything, and for a reason too.

I've always basically been thin and took up the WD/AED because I felt addicted to regular feedings.  I feel hugely better as a result, and everyone around me is happier because I used to get so moody when I missed a meal.  I've been doing this for a while now, probably five or six years.

As others have observed, the diet is truly magic.  A few days of eating on the road, complete with multiple meals during the day, poor food choices, etc., and I just don't gain weight - sometimes I even lose.

The most difficult thing for me is avoiding substituting food for sleep when I don't get enough of the latter.

Well yesterday I was a bad girl, and my body paid for it, I threw up - and there was no warning, no nausea, headache, dizziness, and before you know it, my body was saying don't give me this crap haha....

Back to detox tomorrow Grin

I recently ate some candy, just to see what it was like. It didn't taste at all good, it made me feel lousy and tired. I'd much rather eat a piece of fruit, some eggs, or some nuts during the day.
