Here is the recipe for a sandwich that I like to eat from time to time since I've been on the Anti-Estrogenic Diet (I really like it as a workout recovery meal):

2 slices Ezekiel 4:9 Bread (Sesame)
2 Eggs
1/2 Avocado
Extra-Virgin Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp cumin seed
1/2 tsp turmeric
sea salt (to taste)

Heat the coconut oil over medium heat, add cumin seeds when coconut oil melts.  When cumin seed begin to "spatter" add eggs and turmeric.  Slice up the avocado (or spread it) and place on bread.  Then add eggs once they are good and fried.  This sandwich rocks.

This sounds like something I'm going to try; if a recipe sounds good when I'm reading it, then I know it's a winner, and this one is.    Smiley

It does sound great, but don't do it until Phase III, if you can help it.

Hehe Rick you're right,  I think I'm going to stay away from it until well over phase III Grin

That makes two of us.  I am one of those people that reads the last page of a novel to see if it's worthwhile, so continuing that tradition, I'm just looking ahead to see what's coming! Cheesy

I was looking up the bread for this recipe and found that there is a lot of products like it that the company offers. Are they all okay to eat on AED? They all have soy but it is just the bean, that is okay right? It all sounds so good that I wouls love to try it all eventually. Strating phase III on Monday and the egg sandwitch is on the menu and I can't wait! Cheesy

Hi Angel,

The soybeans in the Ezekiel Bread are sprouted and not processed.  I believe that this is a safe type of soy product to consume AND I believe when combined in Phase 3 of the Anti-Estrogenic Diet it is even safer because you would not be eating the bread every day (Ori suggests rotating foods, not eating the same foods every day, and having period days of detox/high fat in between food reintro days).  If you would like to try a bread from Food For Life without the soybean, try the 7 sprouted grains bread, it does not contain soy.  All in all, I have been using these flourless sprouted grain breads with great success.  What I love about the Anti-Estrogenic Diet is that it allows you to not have to deny yourself foods that you love b/c of the quite clever detox/high fat days rotated in between reintro days.

Thanks Hunter.  I would tend to agree with you.
