I dont think chlorella is mentioned in any of Ori's books. Does anyone on the forum use it to detoxify? It is said to remove heavy metals. Could be a great sup addition if from the right source.

I bought some once but keep forgetting to take it so I don't know if it's any good or not.

I bought some once and Ori told me not to take it.  I forget exactly why, but I know that while I was taking it I felt weird.

yesterday i was rereading a few chapters of the WD book and actually, ori mentions chlorella in chapter 10: "the warrior diet idea" on page 173.

it goes like this:

high chlorophyll foods: leafy, green vegetables, spirulina, chlorella, grass sprouts, parsley

"consuming high-chlorophyll foods, such as parsley, leafy greens, spirulina and chlorella helps to significantly reduce the effects of radiation. the high-enzyme content of grass sprouts aids in detoxifying and neutralizing free radicals."

maybe ori changed his mind about chlorella but it IS mentioned in the wd.

best wishes

No, I don't think he changed his mind, I think the issue was that he just hasn't seen any good supplements.  Fresh is always recommended.

I believe chlorella has a hard casing around it's cellular (?) structure. In any case, I've read and heard numerous times that it is hard for the body to digest.
I have used spirulina for years. Some say it's the manny that Moses and the Israelites lived on for 40 years in the desert. It is a plankton,  very low on the food chain, that grows on  fresh water lakes (Lake Chad in upper Egypt). I don't like the taste so I put it in gel caps and take throughout the day. It has 5 grams of protein. Because it is so low on the food chain- (It grows through photosynthesis with light) the body can absorb it quickly, so it can really stabilize wacky blood sugar

You can buy fresh spirulina?  Or is this a supplement powder?

I dig out this older thred cause i got some questions regarding seaweed.
Some studies claim that seaweed(esp. spirulina)got a lot of inactive Vit. B12 Analogues which counteract with the digestion/use of active Vit. B12,...,what do you(and Ori) think about that?
Here is the source of the particular claim:

I didn't think it was rude. He was simply stating a fact. The info given was good but it didn't address his question. He was just pointing that out.

Regarding spirulina, I too have heard that it has B-12 analogues that go where B-12 should and thus blocks it's absorption. B-12 is created by a bacteriological process and I have read one writer who said that spirulina and chlorella both contain legitimate B-12 but the B-12 it contains is caused by bacteria from bird droppings from when they fly over head and do what birds do. I don't recall the reference or I would point you to it.
