I ordered the whey protein that is on the defense nutrition website because I was interested in the warrior diet. I am running out and am considering ordering more but I am thinking twice about it. The whey says on the bottle and it says it is from grass-fed cows that are free range. I have read other members here complaining how they don't trust other whey proteins because they don't use organic milk. However, the description on the product says it is not USDA certified organic. I have to wonder, how do I know the product actually is what it says it is? I don't know for a fact it is from grass-fed cows or even free range. You pretty much just have to take it for their word don't you? So the thing is, why should I spend out the extra money for these products when I don't know for a fact they are what they say they are?

I think you can make a good decision .... you've tried it.  Did you find it to be higher quality that the other stuff you've tried?  If u like it, but it.  If not, don't.  I'll tell you that if I used Whey anymore, I would def. use the warrior stuff.  It was head and shoulders above the other stuff I've tried.  I just moved over to whole foods instead.

yeah but you guys aren't getting what I am saying. It says it is from grass-fed cows and free range. How exactly do I know that for a fact? For all I know he could just put that label on the jar to sell stuff. There isn't any evidence that backs it up. Grass fed and free range are big claims to make and they don't provide proof or anything of it. It also says it is not USDA organic certified so how is it organic? It says organic on the box but the description says it is not USDA certified. So I could be lied to without any repercussions. Are you guys getting what I am trying to say?

Yeah, I get what you're saying. A lot of companies sell stuff that's actually organic but they can't list it as so if they aren't certified. Going through the certification process costs money which some aren't willing to spend. Ori could get into all kinds of trouble and it would ruin his business and his reputation if he made claims on the label that weren't true. You can worry about it if you want but I choose to believe it.

I get what you are saying.  A huge thing I  noticed when i first tried it was how soluble it is.  All of the "other" protien I used had to be blended.  Even with that, it still didn't disperse totally - it left a suspension.  With the defense stuff, it starts dissolving as soon as it hits the liquid.  To me, that was a good indication of at least natural ingredients.

If you are that worried about it being organic, why do you use protein?  Whole foods are just as good/better for you post workout.  You know you can find organic coconut oil, eggs, and fruit.  Make a mixture of those PWO and you know you have organic.

it's not the fact that is may or may not be organic that concerns me. It is whether or not it is actually grass-fed that concern me. If not, I might as well pay for something cheaper. If he could lie about it being organic, how do I know he is not lying about the grass-fed free range claims? The only legitimately genuine source of this information is coming from the words of his own mouth, which could easily be made up

dr mercola also sells defense nutrition protein, his products are very good, i don't think he would sell something if he's not 100% sure about its quality

skil, it comes to down your decision.  There is nothing we can tell you to verify it.  He has a hotline.  Call in and ask him over the phone sometime.

Ori has nothing to gain and everything to lose by lying. But like clake16 said, it's your decision.

clake16: What does your recoverymeal look like, with only whole foods? I'm looking for suggestions because I can't find any organic whey in Sweden. And to have defense nutrition stuff shipped overseas probably costs a fortune... And do you also take three recovery meals like Ori suggests?

Thanks in advance!

I was wondering what the difference was in the warrior milk and the Defense nutirion whey protein.  Do I need both?  Why?

Look at the ingredients and you will know Wink the whey is just that, plain whey without anything added.
The warrior milk contains whey, fiber, luohan guo as a sweetener, milk powder,...
You get more protein with the whey. You could order both and mix them 1 : 1 , that way you get more protein and the taste. Personally, I only buy the whey because I don't like the taste & the other stuff in the milk.

Well obviously I looked at the ingrediants.  But I still don't know.  I am new to this fitness stuff.  So if I buy both, when would I use each.  The warrior diet book doesn't specify and the e-book doesn't even mention the regular whey. Undecided
