For Women
Excess Estrogens in Women
Women today often suffer from severe metabolic disorders related to excess estrogens, due to various factors, including: exposure to estrogenic chemicals, aging, drugs and improper diet.
With aging, estrogen levels increase, due to the conversion of testosterone to estrogen via the aromatase enzyme in fat cells.
Athletes may suffer from over-estrogenic activity due to "estrogen kickbacks" as a result of using steroidal drugs.
Women on hormonal replacement therapy may suffer from an increased level of harmful estrogen metabolites (byproducts).
These particular issues, along with a diet deficient in estrogen inhibitor nutrients, leave the body defenseless against the harmful effects of excess estrogen and its toxic metabolites.
For women, this means a propensity for:
- Estrogen related fat gain (stubborn fat) in the hips, lower buttocks and upper thighs
- Irregular menstrual cycles
- Other related disorders (bloating, heavy bleeding, and a susceptibility to endometriosis
- Increased risk for breast and ovarian cancer
- Estrogen related stubborn belly fat gain
We all know someone who suffers from these devastating effects of estrogen. Do we passively wait or do we implement a plan of action to eliminate and eradicate them?
